RADAR
Armchair
Design James Irvine (2001)
The structure rotates on a 4-spoke base in nickeled or graphite varnished metal base and is equipped with an adjustable headrest and an ottoman. The spirit of the piece was best expressed by the designer himself, as follows: "Read a book, watch TV, sip on a gin and tonic, take a quick nap, play space invaders on your portable lap top computer, eat peanuts, spin around, sign an important contract for millions of dollars, chat on the phone, read the paper, contemplate your future, contemplate your past. Take it easy, relaxing in Radar".

Helical Basic 2001. Design: Axel Enthoven
Previously Helical was available as a pivoting chair and also as a version incorporating an attractive tubular frame (104). The "Helical Basic" completes the range. Technically the "Basic" is the simplest Helical version with emphasis entirely on design form. The freeing up of electrical components on the "Basic" version keeps the design functionality simple.
Technical details
• The model "Basic" has a metal frame comparable to the frame of the 104.
• For the basic version a footstool has been designed under number 449.
• The frame is available in chromium and epoxy colours.

This luxurious armchair owes its appeal to its simplicity and functionality. Comprising only three elements - seat, backrest and tubed frame it is visually compact and extremely comfortable. The armchair is perfectly complemented by the stool (available separately) - a good match in both home and architectural settings.

Excalibur 1990. Design: Jan Armgardt
Excalibur’s organic forms surround you with a sublime comfort. The backrest, which is moulded to the human body, envelops the connoisseur. Furthermore, Excalibur is a joy to behold. In designing this armchair, Jan Armgardt was years ahead of the developments which were to affect furniture design: soft forms and flowing lines bear witness to so much character that each product remains an individual creation. Excalibur has become one of Leolux’s legends.
Technical details
• Excalibur is available as an armchair.
• The Excalibur feet are standard available in walnut natural or optional in polished aluminium, solid walnut or in the Leolux lacquer colours.

Much of the renowned Bauhaus metal furniture could not be obtained in Europe after World War II. To fill the gap Robert Haussmann created in 1954 his famous metal armchair RH-301, “Hommage à Mies van der Rohe” made from chrome plated steel - a tip of the hat to his great idol, Mies van der Rohe. With the armchair RH-301 Haussmann was also reaching back ideally to the Bauhaus maxime, according to which the form of a product and the material used should correspond with its actual purpose. Haussmann solved this task brilliantly with RH 301 and in turn his achievement was acknowledged impressively with the award “compasso d’oro”...

Higher comfort with Nelson: The Lambert classic comes in a modified variant, which has been complemented by a stool. Thanks to a broader back and seat, this armchair now affords even higher sitting conveniences. The slightly mingled tweed look of the dark lampakanay Nelson is woven from, lends this line of furniture a modern and urban character. The newly conceived stool can also stand on its own as an occasional piece of furniture or as a small bench in the bedroom.

EGOIST & EGOIST XS
"The necessity is the engine of the invention"
Platon 427-347 B.C
Recovering all that is private
Is not the modern egoist someone who professes a fundamental right to privacy? The EGOIST is a modern wing chair with classic values. It is a refuge, and can become a regular seat. It is a seat from which its owner can observe what transpires in their book or the room in front of them, always from a certain distance. But is its seclusion real or just feigned? Not letting on is all part of the EGOIST’s privacy.
The EGOIST is also available in the smaller XS size with no less privacy.
