The Online Architecture and Design Exhibition
Automatic hand dryers are installed in public and private spaces for practical, comfortable hand-drying. An infrared sensor automatically switches them on. They are hygienic and efficient, both in terms of energy-consumption and time.
These devices are common in public spaces experiencing medium-to-high traffic, including toilets, locker rooms and any area requiring a sink to ensure hygiene.
Such dryers have a motor, a sensor, an electrical resistance, an air intake, a fan, a funnel and a grid or duct to direct the outflow. These elements are housed to protect them from humidity and splashing.
