Mini
Design: Anya Sebton
Functional Simplicity in Millibar Seating Family
The original Millibar development proposal put forward by Anya Sebton in 1998 included a wide range of seating designs, from the first barstools that gave the line its name, to lounge and stack chairs that were introduced in 2007.
Lammhults has expanded the Millibar family in 2008 with a new pair of stools called Mini. Smaller and lighter than the first barstool, Mini serves a mobile population pausing for quick lunch, coffee or meeting. Easy to move and easy to manage, Mini derives its name from its simplicity of expression: a minimalist functional design solution.
Mini barstool takes its inspiration from the molded shell concept developed for the Millibar chairs. A light, one-piece molded needle-punch felt seat with bonded surface fabric is attached to a stylish, thin-diameter steel rod sled base. The angles in the base and in the footrest result in a beautiful pattern between the units placed next to each other.
The molded-in grid pattern on the seat surface maintains the Millibar graphic identity first seen in the Millibar mesh of the first stools. Millibar is now a well-rounded group of seating products, furnishing restaurant, corporate, hotel interiors as well as residential use. Mini is also perfectly suited for use with the Millibar Bar Table, part of the existing Millibar product family.
Mini barstool is available in two heights, for counter or bar, and a range of frame finishes.

Versatility of use and countless possibilities for customisation: these are two key features of the Babar col-lection, which this year has been completely renewed. All versions of the Babar stool, designed by the Pengelly Design Studio, are now available with a chrome-finish base and comfortable backrest. The pad-ded cushion can be covered in leather, faux leather, fabric or the customer’s own fabric, in numerous col-ours. The height-adjustable model has been joined by a fixed-height version, plus a floor-fixed version that is ideal for contract settings.

gloria's form is descibed by its tight upholstery. The striking steel frame plays with the upholstery, puncturing it in one point and seeming to float alongside it at another point.
gloria is upholstered onto a plywood shell with multi density cmhr foams. It conceals its bucketed seat which surrounds the body perfectly and provides a superior comfortable it. gloria stacks well and has been designed to minimise pressure points in the upholstery when stacked

Designed by Philippe Starck — 2002
The prototype version of this stool was first used in 2001 for the Mies van der Rohe retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City for a recreated cafe that Mies van der Rohe and Lily Reich originally designed, a beautiful space with waving curtains. The museum selected these stools as pieces that might have been chosen by Mies van der Rohe today.

Barstool. Colour-coated or chromium-plated steel. Seat shell in integral foam, colour varnished. Handbag hook underneath the shell.
Passionate bar-hoppers are familiar with this common dilemma: barstools either look good or they are comfortable - but rarely both at the same time. Triton has finally succeeded in reconciling this supposed contradiction. Thanks to its anatomically formed seat, it is unusually comfortable. But it also exudes a surprisingly uncomplicated self-assurance - and comes in a host of surface and colour variations to harmonize with a wide range of decorating concepts. Women will especially love this barstool, because designer Clemens Weisshaar has even included a hook under the seat to hang up a handbag. Isn't that clever?
Triton is also available as counter, stool and table.

Eckart Muthesius 1931
Frame of chromium-plated steel tubing. Upholstery: polyurethane with polyester filling on a beechframe. Cover in leather.
The palace of Maharajah Shri Yeshwant Rao Holkar Bahadur was placed in the far Indies, yet it was equipped with the latest in modern finesse from a western life. This included a billiard room and a bar in an avantgarde style where the walls shimmered blue and silver and stainless steel, lacquer and leather were the dominating materials. The bar stool designed by Eckart Muthesius for this place, is even today, nearly 70 years later, a fascinating and individual design and could be placed in any modern scene-bar. A true modern classic never dies.

Anyone who has had the fortune of sitting on a Wegner chair will understand why bulthaup has included this model in its range. This chair, created by the Danish designer in the 1950s and 60s, is just as impressive today as it was then, with its characteristic minimalism, equilibrium and artistic appearance.
The "Y-Chair%u201D, or CH24 chair, forms the perfect complement to the bulthaup c3 table. Its back rest rises up in a slender Y-shape from the seat surface, opening out organically into the arm rests on either side. Representing another highlight of form design is Hans J. Wegner's bar stool, which has now been re-issued exclusively for bulthaup and is available only from bulthaup retail partners. The bar stool's seat height is coordinated with the bar solutions from bulthaup b3.
