The LINEA TOSCANA & OTTOCENTO consists of wooden articles, that stand out for their dark brown finish, type walnut, named simply Dark Wood (Legno scuro), and obviously also for the typical Tuscan style of the end of the nineteenth century, a style that has affectionately been named "grandma's style" in the company, because it takes us back to tastes and cultures which are always nice to recover in our frenetic world.
Many of this collection's products are made of a valuable material like old wood, recognizable by the characteristic and original wear of the years on its surface. "Original" must be emphasized, because the worm traces are real and have not been forged with nails or other tools.
Beyond the dark brown finish (LS = dark wood), some of this collection's products are also available in the colours Honey or Natural Wood Stain, lighter and more natural colours, that obviously let the wood's beauty shine through, with its natural essence, grain and nodes. The most commonly used materials in this collection are poplar and elm, the latter being a very precious material and decidedly of Italian origin.
The craft finish, characteristic of all Bianchini&Capponi's collections, is the reason why shade differences might occur between two products. Wood, in fact, is a material that has grain and different absorption surfaces of the basis colour. Obviously these differences are emphasized in lighter finishes like Honey or Natural Wood Stain.
For bathroom furniture there are also tops in Carrara Marble of the Pisanino type, a higher quality and even shaded marble, whiter and at the same time less porous than normal Carrara Marble.
