The LINEA TOSCANA & OTTOCENTO consists of wooden articles, that stand out for their dark brown finish, type walnut, named simply Dark Wood (Legno scuro), and obviously also for the typical Tuscan style of the end of the nineteenth century, a style that has affectionately been named "grandma's style" in the company, because it takes us back to tastes and cultures which are always nice to recover in our frenetic world.
Many of this collection's products are made of a valuable material like old wood, recognizable by the characteristic and original wear of the years on its surface. "Original" must be emphasized, because the worm traces are real and have not been forged with nails or other tools.
Beyond the dark brown finish (LS = dark wood), some of this collection's products are also available in the colours Honey or Natural Wood Stain, lighter and more natural colours, that obviously let the wood's beauty shine through, with its natural essence, grain and nodes. The most commonly used materials in this collection are poplar and elm, the latter being a very precious material and decidedly of Italian origin.
The craft finish, characteristic of all Bianchini&Capponi's collections, is the reason why shade differences might occur between two products. Wood, in fact, is a material that has grain and different absorption surfaces of the basis colour. Obviously these differences are emphasized in lighter finishes like Honey or Natural Wood Stain.
For bathroom furniture there are also tops in Carrara Marble of the Pisanino type, a higher quality and even shaded marble, whiter and at the same time less porous than normal Carrara Marble.

A furnishing project that brings design to functions. The simple structure of the Urban Chic collection is made up of modules measuring 60 cm in width and in height that are available with conventionally opening, bottom-hung or pull-out doors. These modules can contain internal drawers and can hold all the equipment needed in the bathroom. They also include a storage place and socket for hairdryers. Every drawer can be personalized using modular containers in stainless steel and mahogany in order to optimize and organize the available internal space. Every module can also have internal lighting commanded by a sensor. There is room for everything you need, and it is easy to access everything inside the modules. The result is a neat and extremely tidy piece of furniture.

This idea is beautiful as well as functional, and perfectly in line with Fap Ceramiche’s bathroom design philosophy. When designing bathrooms, there is often a tendency to forget that even the most common accessories and objects ought to form part of the overall look, and such elements are often added later, without any sort of fil rouge to link them. Fap+ aims to interpret the bathroom environment and its needs at a deeper level, drawing upon the innate energy of its design and allowing the shapes and lines to move freely around, creating their own atmosphere; objects which normally play a merely functional role become part of the furnishing and decoration project of the bathroom.
Fap+’s concept of functional bathroom ceramics is that less is more; it avoids the hectic proliferation of “bathroom objects” such as soap dishes-tumblers-jars, etc.
This project makes its début with the Variazione+ line, designed by Angelika Mörlein. With Variazione+, walls tiled with Fap Ceramiche collections take shape and form shelves, ledges, graceful strips and clothes hangers which blend seamlessly in with the decor.
