The London-based JPS Purchasing Company approached Castlebrook with regard to the design, construction, transport and installation of a wide range of products to suit their client, the Cheval Group of Serviced Apartments. Clients of the Cheval Group like the idea of staying in a home away from home when in London. With this in mind we furnished each individual apartment with high-quality maple and walnut units, incorporating glass tops to the tables and a striking curve into the majestic headboard.

Nottingham Cottage finds its inspiration in the vision of the skilled artisans of a typical English village where the great tradition of "Old English Country" design reached its zenith at the dawn of the Seventeenth Century. Craftmen borrowed motifs from the more elaborate "Court" and "Town" furniture of London and then distilled them into a style that was robust and durable. The cherrywood is reminiscent to the period coloring yet is pleasing to the modern palette. The distressing creates the rustic 'antiquity' and warm feeling of period furniture.
