Gira now offers the Keyless In Keypad, Fingerprint and Transponder as a new function within the Gira door communication system. Integrated in the Gira door station, they are a convenient, secure alternative for keyless access to the house. The technology is based on electronic or biometric systems: The Gira Keyless In Keypad opens the door when a personal code is entered. The Gira Keyless In Transponder responds to the signal from a card or a transponder key. And the key can remain in your pocket: It automatically transmits the signal starting from 1.5 metres. Using the most modern high-frequency technology, the Gira Keyless In Fingerprint evaluates the structures of the deepest layers of skin on the finger. It's technology that provides a high level of security against manipulation.

The V-Flex, installed next to a Wiegand based reader, adds dual factor authentication to an existing access control system.
Organizations with security systems that include keypads, barcode or proximity readers can now add the enhanced security offered by biometric technology without reissuing cards or replacing their existing infrastructure.

The fingertip reader can be used in two modes. In identification mode, the user is identified by fingerprint data only, whereas in verification mode a PIN code has to be entered as reference for the stored template to be compared with the actual fingerprint.

Extended function fingerprint scanner
Biometric access control for up to 99 users involving one-off production in accordance with project specifications
The fingerprint scanner increases the functional scope of (video) front-door stations by adding biometric access control. As a stand-alone unit, the compact fingerprint scanner can be used for opening doors or alternative applications involving up to 99 users. As a functional enhancement, it can be integrated into the flush-mounting front-door stations from the PUK and VPUK series as well as into display front-door stations. The fingerprint scanner can be integrated into one of the specified TCS front-door stations as a one-off product that is manufactured in accordance with the project specifications.
