This bus shelter is composed of two 120 x 10 mm tubular, front load-bearing, seamless, cold-drawn columns, with a 20 mm thick 300 x 300 mm base plate. The monolithic roof overhangs the columns and consists of 2 horizontal 100 x 3 mm tubular ledgers upon which seven 12 mm thick shaped steel elements are welded. Special seals hold the 5+5 mm safety glass in place. The glass panes are silk-screen printed for protection from sunlight. The bus shelter has to be placed onto a concrete plinth, built at the same level of the finished floor. All steel parts are galvanized and polyester powder coated. The 12 mm thick rear and lateral glass walls are tempered safety glass and fixed to the roof and lower support structures by special clamps. The 15 mm thick laser-shaped bench supports are welded to the 20 mm thick 300 x 300 mm base. Dimensions and characteristics of the bench are the same for all Gea benches. This bus shelter is provided with a lighting system. All fixings are in stainless steel.
