Recently when releasing the new version of our flag software, we changed the name of SCIA•ESA PT into Scia Engineer.Together with the previous convivial structural analysis software generation ESA-Prima Win, we offer very extended calculation capacities and graphic modelling.
A CAD model is built at the same time as the analytical project. This allows the immediate creation of useful plans for a preparatory project. All structures, as well as their parametric models, are workable. Our software has been adapted to many national and European standards. Finally they communicate in a transparent and bi-directional way with drafting packages like Allplan (Nemetschek) or ProSteel (Kiwi Software). Reinforced Concrete Analysis in Scia Engineer is available for the calculation of reinforcement in beams, columns, walls, plates and shells. The program is completely integrated with Scia Engineer modules for structural analysis. With this module the structural engineer has an interactive graphical tool at his/her disposal for the calculation of required reinforcement areas (e.g. longitudinal reinforcement and shear reinforcement) according to the regulations given by the chosen code.
Scia Engineer has also for concrete and reinforcement a strong visual presentation. All the reinforcement that was calculated by the user can be shown in 3D on the screen.
On this reinforcement special checks can be done. Scia Engineer has a various amount of possibilities that can be checked such as:

MasterSap is a program conceived for the analysis, design and drawing generation of Civil Engineering applications. MasterSap allows the user to analyse generically modelled structures through typical framed elements, plates and shells. CSiCOL is a comprehensive software package used for the analysis and design of columns. The design of columns of any concrete, reinforced concrete, or composite cross-section can be carried out by the program. CSiCOL provides a 'Quick Design Wizard' tool that guides the users step-by-step, through the whole process of column design. This makes the design process simple, organized and efficient. The design can be carried out in accordance with ACI-318-02, ACI-318-99, BS8110 or CSA A-23.3-94 codes.
CSiCOL is capable of handling an unlimited number of load combinations both for sway and non-sway conditions. The design actions may be specified directly or may be computed by the program using the moment magnification method. The design and analysis take into account the slenderness effects. Sway or non-sway condition checks may also be performed by the program as specified by the selected design code. Moreover, CSiCOL is capable of determining the Effective Length Factor based on the framing and end conditions of the column.

Pile and micropile software is intended for calculation of the bearing capacity of the foundation terrain of a pile or micropile bearing loads in whatever distribution (moment, normal force, shear). Structural calculation yielding dimensions of longitudinal steel struts, interval and size of rings is also performed. The worksheet, upon which is shown the plan of piles or micropiles inserted in the foundation terrain, may be dimensioned as required. R.C.CAD main features can be summarized as follows:
