PERCo manufactures several models of the proximity readers, which are compatible with the most frequently used cards formats %u2014 HID and EM-Marin.
The readers can be mounted on any surface including metal or behind any building material except metal.
The PERCo readers come standard with a built-in audio beeper and a tri-color LED (red, green, amber). Both single line and double line versions of LED control are available. When a card of corresponding format is presented, the LED quick flash period and the audio beeper tone are activated, regardless of the card access status. This gives the user immediate feedback that the card was read and the data was sent to the controller.
