CS 86-HI is a multi-chamber system for windows and doors that combines aesthetic design, optimal stability and high thermal comfort. Due to the insulating skeleton strips, CS 86-HI achieves Uf-values down to 1.47 W/m²K, making this a highly energy efficient system. Flexible expansion strips in the door vents ensure stability in all conditions. The system provides inside opening windows and inside & outside opening flush doors (up to 3 meters). Furthermore, CS 86-HI doors offer different types of floor connections to meet acoustic, thermal and water requirements.

CS 77 is a thermally improved three-chamber system for windows and doors that boasts the optimum combination of safety and comfort. Fibreglass reinforced polyamide strips with ribs and/or hollow chambers guarantee high thermal insulation levels.
The system is available in a variety of aesthetic shapes to match the current architectural trends whilst offering all types of both inward and outward opening windows and doors. A double butt strip
between the frame and vent and a lowered drainage ensure superior wind and water tightness. Different inner and outer colours are possible.

The capability to produce with maximum effectiveness and efficiency, Is what guides Alfa Lum in the design and construction of its windows. On one side there are the benefits offered by the wood, such as the natural warmth and functionality, on the other side the longevity of the aluminium insures tangible benefits in the everyday life.
Alfa Lum uses special screws to join the external aluminium component with the inner wooden component for the fixed part (frame) and for the mobile part (door leaves). The major benefit of this method is that the wooden component can be easily replaced. Moreover this method avoids the need to remove the window and ensures the two sashes do not touch to allow for different expansion rates of the two materials. On the external aspect the stability and the solidity are guaranteed by the structural function of the aluminium, while wood is used for aesthetic purposes. In fact, aluminium frames offer more resistance to twisting forces and damages caused by weather conditions, in order to guarantee global protection, Alfa Lum applies multiple locking hardware to the solid bearing structures, equipped with hooked door latches to the frame located on the window to insure total protection.

With the standard Roto NT Designo hardware, sash weights of up to 80 kg are possible. As from May 2007, you can also make windows with a sash weight of up to 130 kg.
Innovative security concept. Roto NT Designo is equipped with small, compact hinge-side components, leaving for additional security, up to burglary resistance grade 2 (WK2). The anti-jemmy device is integrated as standard in the corner hinge.

All of Roto NT Designo%u2019s components are perfectly matched with the Roto NT modular system. This considerably reduces installation time and expense.
Generally speaking, Roto NT Designo is easier to install; both automatically and manually. The hardware is simply positioned in the corners, avoiding installation errors. One man installation is also easy.
