The use of a compact turbo fan has simplified the structure and reduced the height to only 298mm. The overall volume has also been reduced by up to 50% of previous models allowing for easy handling and installation. The three dimensional twisted wings of the compact turbo fan greatly reduce noise and electromagnetic disturbance is kept to a minimum by the use of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control. The auto-louvers are not flocked so the unit does not accumulate dirt and is easy to clean and by utilising the motor speed up tappings the model can be adapted for use in high ceiling installations.

The RCIM 4 way cassette type indoor unit is extremely compact and fits into a standard 600x600mm ceiling unit. Also with a height of only 295mm and a weight of 17Kg it can be easily installed in the reduced space of a false ceiling. By utilising the motor speed up tappings the model can be adapted for use in high ceiling installations of up to 3.5m. The unit is easily maintained, the electrical box can be accessed from inside the grill and it is possible to adjust the body height without removing the panel.

Where wall space is at a premium and a ceiling void is available, cassette units provide a neat and attractive solution. Fitted with motorized air deflectors controlled from infra-red remote, fresh air and branch duct connections (selected models), climaVAIR cassettes deliver the best possible air distribution throughout the room. The energy efficient on/off units use chlorine-free R410a refrigerant, whilst the inverter models utilise the latest DC technology to ensure te heating/cooling output exactly matches the room requirement.
