MATERIALS
Bamboo: a fast growing, sustainable grass that produces 35% more oxygen than the equivalent stand of trees. Matures in 5-6 years, while equivalent woods take 30-60 years to mature. Recyclable, renewable, and biodegradable.
FINISH
Developed by Kalon Studios to replace other readily available wood finishes containing heavy metals, inorganic compounds and other toxins. Practically food grade, it uses the industrial grade version of materials we know in other edible forms - i.e. Linseed Oil (Flax oil), Citrus Extract, Carnuba Wax (Lipstick & Candy Base). Developed to not only be harmless to the environment, but also to be people friendly. Paint is low VOC, non-toxic, 100% Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAP) free.

It is thus easy to compose a chest of drawers with 1,2,3, or 4 drawers.
For esthetics, each drawer comprises 3 buttons and 2 vertical grooves.

With the enduring warmth of early-20th-century farmhouse furniture, these two bedroom essentials offer the very best of both craftsmanship and style. Each piece is solidly built of poplar with dovetail joinery and frame-and-panel construction. Design details include rustic beadboard paneling, turned wood legs and hefty ball finials. All drawers have center-mounted wood glides and lower drawers all have drawer stops.
To create the special finish, the wood is gently distressed and rubbed by hand for a beautiful and rustic patina that reveals its rich grain. Two layers of protective lacquer provide a buffer against wear and tear for a rich finish that will last through the years.
With two small and two large drawers, the dresser offers plenty of room for sweaters and pants. The nightstand features a wide surface and two extra-deep drawers. Available finishes listed below.
