RHEINZINK® - Tile Systems
RHEINZINK-tiles include flat-lock, square and diamond-shaped tiles. Flat-lock tiles are primarily used for large façade surfaces. This is where their visual impact is the most impressive.
The square and diamond-shaped tiles comprise the group of RHEINZINK-small tiles. Due to the small size of individual components, design solutions can even be found for geometrically complicated buildings. Among other things, traditional cladding of roof dormers, chimney heads or roof edges with small tiles is not a problem.

Facade claddings (cavity structure)
Facades are the "calling cards" of buildings. They characterise the aesthetic essence of buildings. FalZinc® minimizes reflection, conveying discreet representative building characteristics, even on large surface areas. The most frequently selected type of installation is the angular standing seam on a ventilated framework. Through our installers network
numerous other solutions and configurations of facade panels are available, such as shingles and tiles.

RHEINZINK-interlocking tiles lend this project in Mexico its concise structure. The "preweathered pro blue-grey" surface, pre-patinated ex-works, ensures the typical blue-grey aesthetic quality of a zinc patina. See our database of references for more photos of this property.

RHEINZINK® - Seam technology
RHEINZINK-seam systems join the individual sections longitudinally. The angled standing seam is the norm in the facade area. It is distinguished by the strong emphasis on the seams (width ca. 12 mm). Widely available machines ensure that profile edging and seam closure is done with efficiency. Various section lengths and widths allow even complex special forms to be realised.

VM ZINC® facade applications began as an extension of the building envelope from the roof down to the walls. The first technique used was standing seam, but now, in order to meet architects' demands,
VM ZINC® has developed innovative systems which use all the material qualities of zinc: long-lasting, malleable, flexible, aesthetic and prestigious.
Today, VM ZINC® offers a range of systems supplied with preformed finishing accessories produced specifically for covering facades in the service and residential sector, for both new construction and renovation.

RHEINZINK® - Click Strip System
The batten system is the oldest of the installation systems available today. A wooden batten or the innovative RHEINZINK-click roll batten bracket is inserted between the systems to accommodate fasteners. These alternative types of fastening are covered with a roll cap. The RHEINZINK-click roll system meets all the requirements of an efficient installation and provides the greatest possible precision.

RHEINZINK® - Reveal Panel
A particular advantage of the reveal panel is the 200 mm - 333 mm selection of bay widths and the variable joint widths of 0 mm - 30 mm. In conjunction with the flexibility of installation directions (horizontal and vertical), reveal panels give the architect an incredible amount of latitude when implementing his/her design ideas. A diversity of building designs can be optimized. For example, durable, quality solutions can be realized for renovations or subsequent insulation in a short period of time.
|
|
RHEINZINK® - Cassettes
The use of cassettes in curtain walls comes from the development of large components for quick and cost-efficient installation. These are large surface, elevated cladding. The four lateral edges are folded. RHEINZINK offers the option of having cassettes produced individually and project-specific. When installed on appropriate substructures, cassettes lend a futuristic, "technical" appearance to buildings. This installation system is very popular for administrative and commercial buildings.

"The focus was on functionality, safety, compatibility with the existing Chesapeake Energy campus architecture, and reinvention of the typical parking garage image while making it fun for the daily users of this garage."
Elliott + Associates Architects
To achieve this goal the architect's team created a concept, that followed certain guidelines:
1. We will “store” 791 cars with 4 levels.
2. The exterior skin must be a minimum of 20% open by code.
3. Make the building unrecognizable as a parking garage. At first glance it will appear as an office building.
4. Devise a way so that the cars are not visible from the outside during daytime or nighttime.
5. Make the exterior respond to the constantly changing light and color of the Oklahoma sky.
6. The structure will “connect” to campus and not duplicate.
7. Think “Brick Shadow” and soft / sky reflections.
8. Make the architectural mass “dissolve” into the sky.
To achieve a homogenous surface with only 25% open area, Haver & Boecker designed a new mesh specification using slightly crimped flat wires: LARGO-PLENUS 2022 made from Stainless Steel T316.
Small gaps between panels provide minimal interference for the integrity of the mesh facade.

The LINEAR System by PROMETAL® is an exterior façade finishing system based on strips mounted on a load-bearing structure comprising carriers secured to existing walls.
This particular type of facing means that various compositional solutions can be achieved by exploiting the possibility of vertical, diagonal or horizontal strip installation techniques.

Planet-M is a remarkable building object which was to be clad with stainless steel wire mesh in a three-dimensional way. The 'Escale' mesh was especially developed for this project. At daytime, it reflects the light as a glistening surface. At night, when the Planet starts glowing by means of 380 light sources, the mesh recedes optically and serves as a filigree light distributor.

Louis Vuitton´s Store at Omotensando Avenue, Tokyo symbolizes layers of suitcases wrapped with stainless steel mesh typ Sambesi and Baltic. Coloured glass shimmers through the mesh during the day and at night the mesh is very transparent. As an eye-catcher for the entrance area of the new Louis Vuitton shop in Tokyo GKD manufactured a 4,15 x 5,30 m sized mesh panel, woven in the pattern of LV´s new "Damier" Design.

Kalzip perforated façades
Perfectly suited to both new build and refurbishment projects, Kalzip perforated façades offer an innovative solution to the upgrading or enhancement of a building through the creative use of light. Without compromising the structural integrity of the building envelope, it is ideal for cantilever roofs, car park screening, or to simply add subtle detail to large elevations and provides numerous aesthetic and practical advantages.
Offered in aluminium, Kalzip perforated facades provide superb flexibility and a cost-effective solution. Available in a number of Kalzip standing seam profiles and TF façade system, they feature a choice of perforations, with each profile subject to a slightly different grid pattern based on hole diameters and spacings. Through the coordination of light, shape and texture, Kalzip perforated façades are a simple yet elegant solution for creating striking designs.

RHEINZINK® -Trapezoidal Profile
Whether installed horizontally or vertically, the cool, angular language of shape makes the ribbed, stylised trapezoidal profile appealing. The contrasting effect of light and shadow which arises under light incidence is more intense than with the softer effect of the corrugated profile. The option of choosing between A and B as the visible side, makes this façade cladding a profile with "two faces".
|
|
RHEINZINK® -Horizontal Panel
Horizontal panels looks similar to reveal panels and are reminiscent of wooden façades. With a marginal profile on both edges, components are mounted indirectly with a special RHEINZINK-bracket profile, with a strictly defined 20 mm groove. Linear expansion due to changes in temperature can be accommodated, thanks to this technique.

New Kalzip FC facade system
Innovatively and economically by the singular Vario Systemmontage with penetration-free transfer
The innovative, flexible Vario Systemmontage is the outstanding feature of the new Kalzip FC of facade system. The installation of the aluminum profiles can take place both into both directions, alternatively from downside upward or from above downward, and independently of adjacent panels in the midst of one front surface which can be installed. Thus the assembly becomes enormously economical. As given, building-lateral obligations can be coordinated as stand positions or connection work flexibly and independently of the assembly process.
The wide panels according to standard with head tilting and moved penetration-free without are offered to rivets or screws on raster clicking rails. The matured system considers all detailed solutions and as complete package inclusive sub-construction is offered. System-conformal hitting a corner training make a gentle and harmonious accentuation for building geometry possible and underline thus the esthetic total effect of the front.
Exchange of individual elements possible
The Kalzip FC facade system is in such a way designed that individual panels can be changed when damage simply and problem-free. The complex and expensive exchange of whole front surfaces is void. The behind-ventilated facade system is equally suitable for redevelopment and new building. It is similarly to the Kalzip roof system with different surfaces and a broad Farbpalette (colorcoated surfaces in all RAL and special colors) available.
