SEMA, firstly hand made in workshops in Istanbul exhibit a constructivist sensibility organized around highly rigid geometrically simple structures. This geometric structure is the visually striking aspect of the object but should not be mistaken as an exercise in the play of abstraction. Instead, it has a very practical use as storage units for books and magazines.
