Concrete element walls are produced in the factory in Meiningen. There is a distinction between internal walls, double-layered sandwich walls and exterior skins for façades. Precast walls can be used in any type of buildings where there is a need for durable, flexible, high quality, fire resistant walls. The thickness of the massive wall units varies between 120 and 200 mm, depending on the strength and sound insulation requirements. The elements are one storey in height, with a maximum of about 4.20 m, exceptionally 4.50 m. This value is generally governed by transport conditions. The length of the panels is mostly between 2.40 m and 14.00 m.
The bearing walls are generally used in combination with hollow-core floors. Other applications are partition walls and elevator and stairwell shafts. Generally, the larger the wall units, the more economic the project, and the better the site productivity.
Precast walls are manufactured on long tables. The molded side is smooth as cast, the top face leveled and floated. Painting or wallpapering is possible after slight surface rendering. Technical ducts and inserts for electricity are incorporated during casting.

To confer on the industrial panels of frontage a finished aspect, we use often various types of granulated in the production.
The use of natural pellets makes it possible to obtain concrete panels with a color of transition. The pellets are made apparent thanks to the application of a process of washing of the panels during the production process.
As we work with natural raw materials, differences can occur just like one can observe it in nature. To be able to judge some, we use scale CIB (see remote loadings) in order to determine the differences admitted.

This industrial concrete product is used successfully since decades for the coloring of buildings of factories, writing desks and spaces commercial. Before the concrete is not run, the mould intended to receive it is treated with a product which delays hardening of it.
So the part of the concrete in contact with this product hardly does not harden, even at all. After the dismantling, the still liquid concrete is pulverized under a jet with high pressure, in order to emphasize some the grit in relief. The use of granulated of various colors makes it possible to give form to concrete walls presenting a broad panoply of colors. By this method of production, pigments mixed with the concrete make it possible to improve the result still appreciably - what is especially recommended with darker flints.
