The "Gran Place" bed was presented during the recent Milan Fair. The name is not only synonymous for abig space but thanks to its versatility it is possible to think up and find different furniture solutions .
It is composed of three different elements: bed, bedside table and
pouff.
Like a puzzle the space can be composed and recomposed. The bedside table can become at first a surface for different objects, then containers for books and magazines. And again the pouff, that according to the position , for example, becomes a comfortable base for a five star breakfast, an improvised desk or anything that your imagination advises.......

A major innovation this year is the inclusion of a line of beds. Starting with the HIGHLANDS collection and maintaining the same genetic code of movement and possible verticality, though introducing a morphological variant, Patricia Urquiola has designed an element for relaxation. The headrest has two positions and acts as a comfortable support. The side members and the footboard are multi-ply wood covered in crushproof polyurethane and polyester fibre. The backs are made of high resilience foam with structure and inclining mechanism made of steel, covered in polyester fibre. The wooden bed base has beechwood curved slats. Feet are screwed to the structure and are in black polypropylene. The bed is completely removable and is delivered knocked down (k.d.) |

Offering new proportions and sizes, the new Charles bed revisits the previous 1998 version while conserving the classic “inverted L”-shaped aluminium foot that is the distinguishing trait of the entire product family. Three types of support are available: with four “L inverted”- shaped feet, with two front feet and two back wheels at the rear, or with two recessed cylindrical feet at the front and two wheels at the rear. Available free-standing or suspended, the Door headboard system matches the bed perfectly and adapt to the size of the walls. The top surface can be fitted with a plate of bronzed crystal glass and with a set of service drawers. |

The Zero bed was born from the coexistence of two pure shapes: the circle and the square. Since the ancient times, the circle is synonym of sky and harmony. The square, symbol of earth, in opposition to the sky and antithesis of the transcendent, expresses stability. The association of the two shapes makes of zero an equilibrated and important object, recalls an idea of movement and evokes the sky and earth couple. Born as a centre room bed, the product is characterized by a high stuffed head and can be equipped with a coat hanger in its back.
Despite its voluminous appearance, it occupies the same space as a traditional bed (bed + bedside table). Its unconventional and symbolic shape doesn’t exclude functionality. The mattress conserves indeed the standard size, unlike other round beds, allowing the use of normal bedclothes.

| Lullaby is a free-rolling bed, to locate as you please, thanks to its rotating round base. Luigi Massoni's original design, back in 1968, was retrieved and revised with contemporary features to restore the freedom of that period but suit it to today's bedroom, which tends to keep an increasing distance from rigid formats. Lullaby Dues' headboard features a winged profile, cadenced by visible seams, with a steel structure and moulded polyurethane foam padding. This headboard is fitted to a rotating base that will move both clockwise and counter clockwise, thanks to the wheels fitted inside the base itself. The headboard and based are upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather from the Frau Color System or Heritage leather. The platform and base are in multi-ply poplar, padded with polyurethane foam. |
