Fratino (monk’s table) is the first contemporary interpretation of the typology of table by the same name, the essential and sober archetype of the convivial board. The base is created by two cast aluminium pediments spanned by an aluminium beam: the result is an extraordinarily dynamic sculptural form which confirms the force of a formal language that is by now characteristic of Miller’s work for cerruti baleri. The glass top allows for maximum visibility of the extremely fluid transition between the bases and the beam. The structural simplicity is reflected in the ease of assembly: two oversized screw perfectly integrated in the form fasten the three elements together. The top is set down, the table is ready. As it is often the case with Miller’s designs, the Fratino hides a surprise: the base can be turned upside-down and used with the central beam in a high position. The result is a new form, different but just as harmonious and original.
Table with aluminium base composed by two shell-cast pediments spanned by an extruded elliptical beam. The large rectangular tops are available in 15mm tempered glass or 50mm wood in natural or moka ash finishes. They are offered in three sizes matching three base dimensions, which vary according to the length of the beam. The base structure can be turned upside-down and used with the central beam in a high position by simply switching the feet and top-supports.

The higher tray is in two parts:
The first, which slides, allows the table to be enlarged and to move the guests
closer. It opens onto a storage space that can hold accessories used for an aperitif or a meal.
The other can be lifted up and pulled forward for eating or working from an armchair or sofa.
The interior storage space can be used to hold bottles, canapés and table accessories. The exterior storage spaces can be used for magazines, books, remote controls…
The table is delivered with a table service including several containers in stainless steel, porcelain and vegetable material.
