Thanks to a new kind of fabric shade with integrated reflector, light only shines in one desired direction, and where required, in two colors: white in the direction of the reflector, and red towards the rear. This casts a pleasant luminance throughout the room, without glare. The clever way the
cable is threaded means the pendant light can be quickly and easily adjusted to any height. RE-LIGHT is available as a ceiling, wall or free-standing light. The metal parts are chrome-plated. Shades are available in two versions: white/white or white/red.Additional color filters available
in three colors.

Joiin explores the notion of weaving light. The design includes a series of curved surfaces that couple together to shade its light source. Up to three of these lampshades may be connected allowing their surfaces to interact, folding into itself like a ribbon of light. The textile used to cover the shade comes finely coated with tiny glass beads, appearing white like frost, when viewed from an angle. Therefore the lamp catches attention even when switched off since its surface reflects the light sources from the environment. The Joiin series includes a floor-lamp: h. 177cm, a small suspension shade: w.62, d. 37, h. 36 cm and a larger version: w.77, d. 48, h. 43 cm. Combinations are only possible with the small version. Joiin is available in black, white, silver/grey and orange. The floorlamp version is completely lacquered in the corresponding colour.

The protective dome canopy also had to compliment the mall’s coastal and marshland theme for both day and night use.
Eide Industries, Inc. was able to accommodate the design and fabrication requirements for the new Coastal Grand Mall (also known as the Mall of South Carolina) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The white powder coat painted canopy frame is engineered to withstand 150MPH Exposure “D” windloads. The fabric cover is made with 9.25oz Sunbrella Firesist® 8604 Natural fabric color with Tenara® thread. The edges of the fabric cover are tensioned with 20,000 pound webbing attached to threaded adjustable steel tension plates.
