The frame of Ripple Chair is made of white polished and natural injection-moulded thermoplastic to highlight the design in relief that is reminiscent of the traces left by sea waves on sand. The circular aperture of the seat, the lightness and softness of the lines, the sturdiness of the material used and its stackability make Ripple Chair particularly suitable for both domestic and public spaces.

I designed this modular furniture system in 2001 while living in Australia, the concept is based on furniture we made from “borrowed” cubed shaped Sydney milk crates and found planks of wood, the multifunctional properties of these two simple components is endless.
The small feet in the Planks and Boxes lock the components together as well as acting as feet.
This Furniture system can grow and change functions with you over time.
1 Box = Bedside table / Storage
