Scent is a bed that makes essentialness its raison d’être. There are only three elements composing it. The light and low wooden base, from which a space for magazines has been obtained. The upholstered headboard, available in all the fabrics of the Porro sample collection, which colours and softens the formal rigour of the base. The mattress, proposed in two alternatives, both attentive to the ergonomics of sleep: the highly slender proposal (13 cm) specially created for Porro by the specialist firm Pronatura, combining natural latex with flexible birch staves or latex alone in the traditional thickness. The double bed version of Scent is composed of two bases in fact, and is usable separately as single beds. Two finishes have been selected for the structure: whitened and perfumed cedar with subtle colouring and the warm tobacco colour of Mongoy wood. The upholstered parts are available in all the fabrics and colours of the Porro sample collection. |
