Tangram is a modular furnishing-system . More than 20 separate modules that can be rearranged, replaced or interchanged easily into various compositions.
Single or 2 seats sofas with frame in polyethylene rotationally moulded, elastic bands. Upholstered with polyurethane foam and dacron. It is possible to fix on the seat elements the armrests in different dimensions, extensions on the seats and pouffs. All the elements of the collection have the feet with an antiskid system.
The final cover in all the fabrics or leathers of our range can be completely slipped off. Some soft quilts, filled with Rollofill, in different dimensions are the option for the seats, for the backs instead some feathers cushions.
The line is completed by the coffee tables in lacquered wood an the benches in oak with the finishing of our range.

This device let the seaters slide ahead, changing the sofas function which include the chaise longue, dormeuse and bed configuration. Wood and steel frame filled with coupled fleece lined expanded polyurethane.

For the modular version the connection between the various units is realised by means of joint-pins that the frame is equipped with. Foostool with pivoting self-locking wheels made for trace prevention.The “Corner unit” and the “End long- chair” have got fix seat.The fix frame of the “End long-chair” does not allow the movement of the seat and the kidneyrest, while the headrest can be easily raised by hand. Sofas with 1 arm can be connected to the corner unit, to the end long- chair and the end footstool only. But they cannot be connected together between themselves. After the cut by means of an electronic system, each part of the cover is “seam matched” to ensure tight stitchings. All the elements have a fixed fitting under-cover beneath the covering.

“La michetta” is the most simple and least expensive bread baked in Milan. No two michettas are ever the same, and even when baked in tins, they always take on different shapes during rising and baking. Meritalia offers “La michetta” as a system of modular components, though mass-produced with industrial processes, it always remains unique due to the different arrangements and different manufacturing methods used for the individual elements – just like michettas. “La michetta” is characterized by the variety of compositions that can be achieved by simply grouping the individual pieces chosen in a free, personal way, with no preset scheme and no limitations.

Description
A range of modern, sophisticated yet reassuring seating elements with an understated feeling of luxury in a vaguely Oriental mood. A new cleanness of subtle lines, of perfect proportions exuding an innate comfort emphasised by taut textiles and pure, neutral colours contrasted with bright colourful splashes of cushions and low tables varnished in plum, emerald green, paprika or lacquer red. Simple and minimal in the normal position; supremely comfortable when the backrest, which has a tilting mechanism, is raised. The chrome-steel or black painted tube legs are reminiscent of the coloured wooden sticks used for playing Mikado (or pick-up-sticks, known as Shanghai in Italian). The same motif is repeated in the legs of the low tables with decorated screen-printed or varnished laminate tops that complete the range. They are designed to match and blend with the sofas while maintaining a specific, independent identity.

A softer and less formal version has been added to one of the best-selling B&B Italia upholstered furniture range. More reclined back and deeper seating characterize Harry Large elements, which maintain the typical aluminium feet. The two sofas are complemented by a third sofa with width of 375 cm, composed of two elements at a special angle that makes the piece more inviting. The large round ottoman can also act as a useful table and is the perfect match for many, many other upholstered pieces in the collection.

The frame of the YFI sofa is made of profiled steel embedded in cold expanded polyurethane foam. The seat cushions and those of the back and armrests are in different density expanded polyurethane, covered in fibre, Chi Wing Lo points out ‘The shape reminds one of the hull of a boat floating in space, that rocks and takes us on an imaginary voyage’. The frame is covered in non-removable leather whereas the internal cushions can be in removable fabric or leather. A range of headrests is foreseen since these undoubtedly improve the comfort of the sofa. YFI is presented in the day-bed version, maintaining the same technical characteristics and having the same double function as a comfortable seat and bed.

Quinta Strada (Fifth Avenue)2005 presents a set of sofas and modular elements that can be put beside squared or rectangular poufs available with or without quilting fabric. Wood block frame filled with differentiated density expanded polyurethane and special intertwined tapes springing. The polyurethane sealers are covered with Tecnoform, which assures a long lasting non-deformable shape. Back cushions in sterilized down feather, pre-covered with 100% cotton cloth. The receding fool follows the sofa's perimeter and is made of wenge dyed wood. The fabric coverings can be unlned.
