YCW 250 is an inside glazed "I-Beam" curtain wall system designed for low to high-rise applications. Inside glazing reduces labor costs; and where inside glazing is not permissible, outside glazing is available as an option. The system offers a wide assortment of face covers, interior covers and trim to fit specific design needs and minimize material costs. YCW 250 is factory engineered and fabricated by YKK AP to ensure the highest level of quality.
YCW 250 SSG is a two-sided structural silicone, stick erected, inside glazed curtain wall system designed for low to mid rise applications. The system utilizes concealed fasteners, accepts 1/4" and 1" glazing panels, and provides minimal exposed aluminum surfaces. YCW 250 SSG is thermally improved to help reduce heating and air conditioning losses. Similar to YCW 250, exterior and interior finishes may be varied. Various interior covers and trim that allow for a wide selection of system depths and optional snap-on battens or covers are available to suit design needs.

YCW 750 IG is primarily an inside glazed curtain wall system designed for low to mid-rise applications. Where inside glazing is not permissable, optional horizontals are available for outside glazing. Attaching the face cover with the thermal clips improves the performance of the system, reduces fabrication and field labor, and enables a separate finish to be specified for the interior and exterior of the framing system.
YCW 750 SSG is a two-sided structural silicone glazed curtain wall system designed for low to mid rise applications. A 1/2" wide weather seal joint at the exterior of the intermediate verticals replaces the 2-1/2" face member and provides an uninterrupted appearance for the glass facade. Perimeter and intermediate horizontal members are thermally improved to provide enhanced thermal performance for the system. Various depth back members and reinforcing are available to meet the design requirements economically, and all fasteners are concealed to provide a clean look.
YCW 700 is the latest addition to the family of curtain wall systems offered by YKK AP America Inc. The design of the new system combines the strength and flexibility of a curtain wall with the excellent thermal characteristics of a thermal clip system. Attaching the face cover with the thermal clips improves the performance of the system, reduces fabrication and field labor and enables a separate finish to be specified for the interior and exterior of the framing system.

MC Curtain Walling
Clean and narrow 52mm sight lines both horizontally and vertically
A single fully integrated suite to incorporate a flexibility of designs
Facades can be facetted to create more interesting shapes and sizes
MC trame is an innovative addition to the range, which emphasises the horizontal, or vertical lines by eliminationg the need for cover caps on the other.
These extrusions can be used to support silicone glazed roofs.

The image of curtain walling is most often associated with substantial office buildings. Curtain walling systems enable large facades to be quickly and simply constructed and still allow for considerable expanses of glazing. However curtain walling sections can also be used as the skeleton for a glass enclosure, with little or no impact on the external appearance.
When the glass is structurally bonded to the aluminium section, the impact to the design is minimal, with sight lines typically as small as 52mm. The depth of the curtain walling will depend on both the vertical and horizontal size of the structure, but the sight line will remain constant.

Facade systems
Creating open spaces. Realising creative concepts. Understanding architecture as an idea. This is the challenge we face.
For public and commercial buildings, as well as for industrial and administrative buildings. Whether classical mullion-transom façades, element façades, window façades, structural glazing or even three-dimensional objects, such as pyramids, polygons or cradle vaults.
With WICTEC façade systems, all conceivable variants are possible. Design diversity combined with technical variability are what we do best. Sight lines of 50 to 90 mm give rise to completely new creative freedoms. The possibilities for combining the different elements, as well as the compatibility of the systems, enable customised solutions.
However, there is more to façades than technical functionality and creativity; "intelligent façades" are becoming increasingly important. Energy savings, lower costs and greater quality of life are the keywords. Today, the focus is on the development of photovoltaic-, PSW- (passive solar wall) and DuoWall-façade systems. Here, too, WICONA offers a comprehensive range that is being extended and developed on an ongoing basis.

The new thermally broken façade system Schüco SFC 85 (Stick Frame Construction) in the form of a structural glazing variation can provide particularly high value architectural solutions for curtain walling. As a result of the opening units being integrated flush with the façade, the fixed lights and opening units appear identical, both outside and inside.
The tested Schüco system solution with three types of glazing and a new generation of fittings provides great freedom in façade design.

The solar constant is the radiant power of the sun before it enters into the atmosphere: average measurement of 137G W/mq. In Italy, the average value of insulation is between 1200 and 1750 KWh/mq per year, Solar panel technology has the advantage of directly transforming sunlight into electric energy, through a passive process |without the absorbing or consuming energy). In fact, it uses the sun which is en unlimited fuel and does not release noxious emissions into the atmosphere saving lulograma of carbon di-oxide (C02). The use of integrated solar pane! systems architecturally can open up new frontiers in the formation of new building designs, where the constructive element becomes an active component which increases the amount of money saved on energy.

SG50 Series uses the same structural grid sections designed for the SL50 system. Since the glared panels are installed from the outside t is possible to cover the wall parapet of the building or portions of the walls that are completely Wind.
This system is especially suitable for the construction of curtain walls with a limited number of open-able elements: it can be used in integral structural solutions or with mixed solution is, with horizontal coverings and vertical sealing or vertical covering and horizontal Sealing.
