How to choose this product

A deck chair is a folding chair often used for sunbathing. Traditional versions have a folding wooden frame and a canvas seat. A sun lounger is sometimes called a deck chair. It usually folds, has a rigid seat and, often, removable cushions.

Applications

A deck chair constitutes portable, seasonal outdoor seating at beaches and in parks or gardens. Cushioned models are also popular on terraces and at swimming pools. They may recline or have wheels for easy repositioning.

How to choose

Consider whether the style needs to blend in with existing exterior furniture. Check that there is enough space to allow adjustable deck chairs to recline fully and for people to circulate safely. Determine whether it needs to have removable cushions and covers, be portable, stackable, easy to maintain, robust or stain-resistant. Fabric and canvas seats should be extremely tear-resistant, as even small rips may considerably weaken the seat.
