Boontje represents the consecration of the image-making reality of enchanted fantasy, which sees the industrialisation of the prototypes presented with such enormous success to the press and the public at the last Furniture Show. Covered chairs, revolving chairs, rocking chairs, banquettes, poufs, tables, where the ornamental euphoria of Boontje´s naturalistic patterns is dominant everywhere. Presented here are DOLL CHAIRS, high chairs covered of organdies and mousselines prepared in subtle variations of colours and textures; WITCH CHAIR, a chair covered in flakes of black leather with a strong reference to Victorian Gothic reinterpreted in a modern vein; OVAL TABLE, the table with a decorated top; the SWEETIE voluminous pouf, inviting and covered with a printed cotton fabric designed by Boontje himself, in the two variants of red-white and black-white; SWIVEL CHAIR, KISSING BENCH and HAPPY ROCKER, respectively a revolving small armchair, a small sofa and a rocking chair, covered in woollen cloths in various colour shades, laser-cut in cascades of flowers and geometries freely inspired by nature.

The Shadowy Chair deckchair and Sunny Longer sunbed have shapes that evoke the beach furniture found at the North Sea in Northern Europe in the twenties, become contemporary by the use of digitally drawn colour patterns and woven by expert African craftsmen using coloured plastic threads.
The structure is in steel, with a robust shape.
Shadowy has curious ruffles in the end parts, in the armrests and backrest that turn into a parasol cover.
In Sunny Longer the same ruffles become a comfortable headrest.
The colored patterns are obtained by the weaving of four colours. Three versions are offered, one with three tones of green and blue, one with red, orange brown and yellow and the other with brown, white, pink and green.

Trendy-Tub®
the Trendy-Tub® is a barrel made of a very resistant type of cardboard. It's encircled by two metal-rings and a lid made of galvanised metal. The factory from which we now buy the barrels formerly only recycled the lids and received a compensation for it. By contrast, it is difficult to recycle products made of two materials as you have to separate these. It's a costly process for which you need special machines. This is the moment we intervene by buying the barrels that served only once for the transportation of flour. The barrels are like new, sometimes with little defects on the lid, which we can easily fix by using a hammered painting. The dimensions of the Trendy-Tub are perfect: the small version has a height of 44.5 cm, a diameter of 41.5 cm and weighs only 3.9 kg. The big version is 74 cm high, has a diameter of 46 cm and weighs 5 kg. Both dimensions correspond to the standard-heights of seats and tables.
Practical side: The Trendy-Tub® can be used in multiple ways: storage (dry dog food, laundry basket, cushions, blankets, etcetera), seat, table (bedside, console table, pedestal table). It's useful and decorative and finds a place anywhere, even in small interiors. We can transform it into furniture: coffee table, dining table, shelves and even lamps...

DESIGN: architect JOZE PLECNIK
He was the first post-modernist at the beginning of the modernist era and the last classical architect.
Plecnik built many important buildings such as Zacherl House in Vienna, the Hradèany and the church of the Sacred Heart in Prague, National and University Library, Triple Bridge, Mutual Assurance Building, etc. in Ljubljana... He combined a modern approach to planning with »classical» design and created a brand new – never seen before- whole. He designed the first completely iron-concrete church, introduced a modern comprehension of churches, shaped a monolith facade, used a »ready-made« and »degraded« the classical pillar into prefabrication...all of this in the beginning of the 20th century.
