Description
Ron Arad's unconventional design approach always creates a challenge in the way materials are used in both the design and production stages.
His new Do Lo Res mixes and merges the worlds of the arts, design and technology. Do Lo Res is a very up-to-the-minute sofa composed of several soft, square-based cube- or rectangular-shaped units of various heights. The units are arranged in rows to form the shape of the sofa, and fixed to a platform by steel pins.
The units all have a 21x21cm footprint while varying in height from 27.5cm to 83cm. They are made of different-density polyurethane foam; a stiffer foam is used at the bottom of each unit in order to grip the steel pin, while softer foam at the top ensures optimum comfort. Do Lo Res units may be rearranged to form a wide variety of shapes and compositions.
This seemingly simple product is actually extremely complex in construction, structure and production terms.
Ron Arad proposes a contemporary look at design to bring the virtual world into the real world.

Description
The first Panna Chairs were shown at the 2007 Furniture Fair, and now Moroso presents the final version. Wellbeing and comfort were the sources of inspiration for its design.
Panna Chair springs to life when someone sits on it, adapting its shape to that of the person. It is soft and embracing. Its lines are graceful, sinuous. It is the essence of research, elegant design and experimentation.
Panna Chair is made of polyurethane foam over a metal frame. In keeping with his study of materials, Tokujin chose fabric as the chair's value-driven component. A fabric designed to be highly practical and functional is revisited and reinterpreted for its inherent poetry. Upholstery designed like a dress to be slipped on and pulled down over the body.
The name, material, stitching, gathering, softness, thickness and colour are messages which convey the soul and function of this chair and the feeling of fulfilment it gives you.
Characteristics
PANNA CHAIR covers are not removable.
Structure
Injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam over internal steel frame.
Feet
Polypropylene feet, screwed to the frame.

Description
Patricia Urquiola is the designer who best expresses Moroso's vision; she has therefore created the main range of the new Bohemian collection.
She has taken a very original approach to classic capitonné work, giving it a revolutionary modern look. Creating emotions. Patricia's family of products - sofa, bergère, chaise longue, armchair and pouf - have very fluid forms, almost as if they were melting over their frame, creating soft, irregular, enveloping, almost casual lines, where the fabric or leather is fixed to the shell with press-studs.
A classically-shaped sofa appears to be "wearing" a shawl thrown over its shoulders. The capitonné fabric shawl is fixed with press-studs to emphasise the idea of "wearing" an outfit. The seat is covered with various kinds of cushions, fabric layers which alternate technical textiles and faux fur with others inspired by Mongolian rugs. The result is a sophisticated product displaying an almost maniacal research into an extraordinarily rich upholstery which layers different leathers and other materials and mixes cultures and traditions, colours and textile-working techniques. A form of luxury patchwork for a sofa with a nomadic, global spirit. Very contemporary. A modern slant on a classic. This fresh approach was only possible thanks not least to Moroso's manual ability and know-how. As if they were working in a fashion atelier, Moroso's "tailors" treat the fabric with supreme nonchalance, transforming it at will, bringing it to life and giving shape to the designer's vision.

Qub is a range of armchairs that has a winning appeal and an original design, a cosy soul and vintage inspiration.
Qub is realized with or without headrest, 4 legs or flat bases. These armchairs represented the Cazzaro lifestyle concept thanks also to the possibility of being upholstered with many fabrics and colours.
Qub was created as an object devoted to furnish waiting areas and hotel spaces, but the curios and funny aspect makes Qub versatile and suitable for the interior home furnishing.

Description
Patricia Urquiola has an innate capacity to design objects with a strong connotation, which revolve around the upholstered families. A new look at the hammock style, presented at the Ideal House exhibition in Cologne; the ideal companion to the Smock armchair presented at last year’s Milan Furniture Show. It displays the same exploration of solids and voids, comfort and luxury, that distinguishes Urquiola’s work. This sophisticated, elegant sofa uses a light, stylised design centred around the draping over the ring-shaped armrests. The unusual feature of a full-length zip is for removing the cover and for joining different materials. The two rings have become arms, the objective lightness is maintained and transmitted by the slightly foamed shell. The small armchair stands on a slide or on a central tube. The particular feature is the smock stitch, embroidered at the sides, giving a luxurious and refined quality. A leather version is also envisaged, again confirming Moroso as a company that offers a unique product representing a way of working that, even though industrialized in its processes, remains hand-crafted in the attention to detail and the finishes.
