There is no shortage of lounge classics, but hardly any of them is so fresh and saucy as the Satyr. There it stands, bold and robust – and that really is important as this is not a chair for formal sitting, but an invitation to relax, lean back and put your feet up. Paradoxical as it sounds, Satyr is the expression of a timeless attitude: casual but demanding unconventionality.
Satyr is also available as armchair with armrest, sofa and stool.

Bibendum is a one of a kind. Nowhere in the history of design will one find an armchair that compares to this. It is captivatingly harmonious despite its size and unites a majestic impressiveness with charm and esprit like no other leather armchair. Eileen Gray underscored the character of her endearing parlour lion with twinkling irony, she named it after the Michelin man, whose form this armchair calls to mind.

An eye-catching almost futuristic interpretation of the classic rocking chair. A modern, dynamic piece of furniture built for comfort and which accommodates a variety of sitting positions. The shape of the rocking chair was partially inspired by a shell. This gives it a beautiful organic design which is raw on the outside but smooth and refined on the inside. A piece of furniture that provides a unique experience of inner tranquillity. The steel frame has been constructed without any transverse lines thus accentuating the floating appearance of the chair. The shell is made of vacuum-suctioned plastic and comes in black or white

Where is the upholstery? An understandable question when one looks at HOB. The answer is that less is sometimes more. A flexible bentwood shell in the seat and back replaces the upholstery and provides the necessary comfort. As if made in a single casting and covered with high quality felt or robust bend leather, HOB seems to float gently above the ground. Contributing to this appearance is the delicate, rotating aluminium frame, available in polished version or in various lacquers.

"Barcelona" remains the piece most representative of Mies van der Rohe, a true icon of the design of the 1900s.
It was displayed in the German pavilion at the World Exhibition of Barcelona in 1929. Mies placed two armchairs next to each other as thrones for the Spanish royalty during the inaugural ceremony, while stools were provided for the followers of the sovereigns.
In line with the stylistic severity of the author, the form is designed exclusively on the basis of function. The body is only made from a structure of steel bars with leather straps to support the two cushions of the seat and back. It is as simple as it is extraordinary.
All the welding and the finishing are done by hand since the master rejected its production in series. This was a long and complex work: after welding, the structure is buffed for hours to eliminate every imperfection before the chrome plating.

"Grand Confort, petit modèle" - the armchair Grand comfort - in the two versions, petit and grand modèle - is part of the series of furnishings in tubular steel presented in 1929 at the Salon d'Automne in Paris, which were born from collaboration between Le Corbusier, his cousin Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.
In line with their views on the themes of proportion and ergonomics, they created the grand modèle for women, who tend to sit with their legs crossed in a diagonal line, and the petit modèle for men, who instead tend to sit straight with their legs open.
The prototype was different from the current model: in 1959 when the production in series began in Zurich, the interior decorator Heidi Weber suggested chrome-plating the structure, giving the cushions a square, formal appearance, and eliminating the spring mechanism in the back legs, which made the chair bend backwards. These changes did, without a doubt, contribute to its commercial success.
A sample of the petite modèle is on display at MoMA in New York.

Bergére - the French word that has become global to describe those comfortable armchairs with an upholstered back, seat and sides, and an exposed wooden frame, takes on a new meaning. Autoban' s interpretation of the French classic has a modernist edge. With its sleek form and solid wooden frame that creates a box-like effect, and the angled back rest that provides utmost ergonomic comfort, Bergere is highly individual.
