The Seventies were hallmarked by some extremely innovative designs and saw the birth of many classics that are still popular today. Ingeniously designed seating produced with typical Swiss quality made the de Sede brand well known throughout the world during this period. The DS-51 swivel armchair is one such model: designed in the company’s own workshop and first manufactured in 1971. Today’s rediscovery of the styles of this time have re-awakened contemporary interest in this classic. The skill of craftsmanship that has gone into creating this chair reflects its high aesthetic standards to perfection. The seat and back cushions are all sewn by hand and it is the striking stitching on the outside that makes this armchair so exceptional and gives it its exquisite appearance. Its low seat height and generous dimensions ensure that the DS-51 can fit easily into a modern lounge environment while appearing light and elegant. The high level of comfort is maintained despite its somewhat fragile appearance.

Patricia Urquiola is the designer who best expresses Moroso's vision; she has therefore created the main range of the new Bohemian collection.
She has taken a very original approach to classic capitonné work, giving it a revolutionary modern look. Creating emotions. Patricia's family of products - sofa, bergère, chaise longue, armchair and pouf - have very fluid forms, almost as if they were melting over their frame, creating soft, irregular, enveloping, almost casual lines, where the fabric or leather is fixed to the shell with press-studs.
A classically-shaped sofa appears to be "wearing" a shawl thrown over its shoulders. The capitonné fabric shawl is fixed with press-studs to emphasise the idea of "wearing" an outfit. The seat is covered with various kinds of cushions, fabric layers which alternate technical textiles and faux fur with others inspired by Mongolian rugs. The result is a sophisticated product displaying an almost maniacal research into an extraordinarily rich upholstery which layers different leathers and other materials and mixes cultures and traditions, colours and textile-working techniques. A form of luxury patchwork for a sofa with a nomadic, global spirit. Very contemporary. A modern slant on a classic. This fresh approach was only possible thanks not least to Moroso's manual ability and know-how. As if they were working in a fashion atelier, Moroso's "tailors" treat the fabric with supreme nonchalance, transforming it at will, bringing it to life and giving shape to the designer's vision.

Tok™ is the perfect place for active relaxation. The chair has a fixed angle between the seat and the backrest. Independent of your sitting position, the recliner will always support your body properly whilst providing support for your arms.
You may recline without slipping forwards or backwards – the movement is in the tilting mechanism, and not between seat and back Furthermore, the organic shape offers many different reclining positions inside the chair.
By using the footrest, a change of position is done effortlessly
The neckrest may be adjusted both horisontally and vertically, thus providing different positions for reading, sleeping, watching TV, etc.
The neckrest is convex, thus enabling greater support for neck and head

Black and ujhite close the circle: in the perfection of their symmetry, they explain the attaction of opposites, dark and light, night and day. Whit* Gothic also designs interiors folloujing an absolutely personal, is a dream of the opposite, in wich mystery and the night seem to find some peace In the milky glare of the day... but it's only an impression, this time is not that of reality.

EX.PILOT Dodo Arslan for spHaus
The EX.PILOT reading armchair looks like something out of a jet cockpit. Its comfortable wrap-around shape makes it perfect for reading. Made of polyurethane foam, EX.PILOT is reinforced with a steel frame resting on a steel four-spoke base finished with scratch-proof coating. The seat can be combined with a matching foot-rest. With valuable finishes, covered in fine hides, its profile is exalted and underlined by contrasting stitching.

The aluminum supports, placed along both sides of the chair, are machined with the advanced technology of CNC .This process allows to model the aluminum alloy profile with extreme precision. The aluminum is further given an electrochemical treatment to harden the outer surface that gives the alloy more resistance to nicks and scratches as well as a brilliant silver finish.
The mechanical heart of the chair is made up of a rocking mechanism that applies to one’s back, a soft and constant force. This bilateral pressure is obtained by the use of two springs that work in torsion incrementally, therefore transmiting these forces to the lateral supports.
The under-structure is made up of six distinct mechanical parts, all of which are constructed in stainless steel with the highest of mechanical precision in order to avoid creaking
The backrest has an angular movement of thirteen degrees at the end of which a sturdy limiting device blocks over rotation and positions the center of gravity at the base, thus avoiding dangerous inclinations and instability
The extreme strength and dimension of the mechanical parts of this chair are needed because about 50% of the torsional, static, and dynamic loads caused by a person sitting in the chair are directly applied to the structure.
