This Thesis composition is made of wall units and
boiserie, creating a mix of open and closed spaces
with lacquer finishes both matt and high gloss, which
range from white to black on a purple background.
The environment is enriched by sofa and armchair by
Halifax Sleeve range.

Lengthened forms, refined lines, reinforced equilibrium. Here, the design highlights the warmth of Arctic white. Cold dances with heat, dazzling laqueur juxtaposes the authenticity of driftwood, delicate fur or immaculate skins. The Blanc de Blanc collection explores opposites, from a very contemporary perspective.

The inspiration comes from the bookcase of the series entitled "Luigi" or "Do you love me?" designed in 1982 by Gaetano Pesce for Bernini. The name of the collection was a scheme in itself: a friend of Gaetano's and lover of wood was called Luigi. The second pan of the phrase is a question addressed by the designer to his own "fans" that aims to gauge whether the appreciation of his works, for the first time built in wood, has remained such. While tidying up the basement of his house in New York. Pesce came across the original product. Appreciating once more the quality of the project, which he had somehow forgotten about, he decided to set to work on it again, radically overhauling dimensions, materials and finish, creating, in short, something new ... Hence the name "New Luigi".

Group of 3 shelves/containers to be freely drawn near, made in curved oak and featured by an extreme versatility. They can be wall mounted through specifi c fi shers, or can be leaned on the fl oor with small plastic feet. They fi t in all rooms: in the entrance (like coat-stand, hanger for umbrellas and hats, holder for telephone or other objects); in the kitchen (for dishes, books, food supplies, electrical domestic appliances); in the living room (for lcd tv, hi-fi , cd, dvd, magazines, objects collections, small table); in the bedroom (night table); in the bathroom. They can be also used as stands in the shops. It may be equipped with a multicolour led lighting system to be applied in the interior.

Form is a synonym of simplicity and practicality. A programme that is very easy to interpret and flexible to use. Form is a modular collection, which means very attractive compositions can be created without any restrictions, to give that original touch to your home. Form has modular wainscoting, bright or glass shelves, large modular pedestals that can also be stood on low benches. Form is available in teak or dark oak, which match perfectly with the wide range of glossy or matt laquered units. It has newly designed stop-sol glass doors, which are held by micro-frames in bronze or chrome plated aluminium.

A name from Ubik, the novel by Philip K. Dick that fascinated Starck, for another of the brilliant and timeless creation of his early carrer that took off together with Baleri Italia. A collapsible object, a bookshelf that becomes an inclined upright, with an airplane's wing profile, to be leaned casually against the wall. The shelves are set into the upright and project on both sides, thus softening the shape into more familiar tones, almost to look like a ladder, an "objet trouvé" modified into a bookshelf

It is only natural that the Maui evolved into a stand alone version. The Maui II is ideal for dividing open spaces.
