High impact, creep-resistant geocomposite and root barrier for use with Grace waterproofing membranes on green roof applications
Description
Hydroduct® Green Roof Composites are a highly robust, preformed geocomposite drainage and root barrier sheet system designed for green roof applications. Comprising a high-impact, studded polystyrene core bonded on one side with a nonwoven, needle-punched polypropylene filter and root barrier fabric and, on the other side, a nonwoven, needle-punched polypropylene separation fabric, the Hydroduct Green Roof Composites provides an economical solution for root penetration protection, drainage, aeration, water storage and membrane protection in an easy to install system. The Grace Hydroduct Green Roof Composites are part of a full green roof waterproofing system to include Grace Procor® Deck System 3R or Grace Bituthene® Deck System.
|
|
|
Bituthene® Deck System combines Bituthene® 4000 sheet membranes with Bituthene Deck Prep® to provide a durable waterproofing system capable of accepting a wide variety of wearing surfaces on above occupied space, inverted roofs, green roofs and elevated concrete deck.

High impact, creep-resistant geocomposite and protection layer for use with Grace waterproofing membranes on all horizontal applications
Description
Hydroduct® 660 is a highly robust, preformed, 0.433 in. (11 mm) thick geocomposite drainage sheet system, comprising a high impact, studded polystyrene core. This is covered on one side with a nonwoven, needle punched polypropylene filter fabric and on the other side with a smooth polymeric film. This film allows the Hydroduct 660 to be placed against waterproofing membrane and should not be removed.
Advantages:
- Universal horizontal application-suitable for all overburdens including concrete
- Damage and creep-resistant-high compressive strength core resists traffic loads and site damage to maintain drainage flow
- High flow capacity-drains 16 gal/min./ft 200 L/min./m) width
- Enhances waterproofing-eliminates hydrostatic head build up
- Securely bonded fabric-restricts intrusion into core
- Polymeric backing film-compatible with both sheet and liquid waterproofing membranes
- Lightweight-easy to install without special equipment
- Simple, convenient, drainage and protection layer-robust membrane protection

Unique dual-profile drainage composite engineered to replace traditional perimeter drain systems
Description
Hydroduct® Coil 600 consists of a combination low and high profile drainage core, a high performance geotextile and high strength backing film. The drainage core profile is 0.44 in. (11 mm) at the top to tie into the drainage composite system and 1 in. (25 mm) on the bottom to provide a highflow section to transport water to the drainage exits. The geotextile serves to retain soil while allowing water to pass from the soil to the core. It is securely bonded to the core to prevent intrusion of the fabric into the core during service. The backing film ensures compatibility with the waterproofing membrane system. The flow capacity of the low profile sections is 16 gals/min./ft (200 L/min./mASTM D4716). The flow capacity of the high profile section is 100 gals/min./ft (1250 L/min./mASTM D4716).
Advantages
- Simple drainage system-collects ground water around sub-structures and transports to drainage exits
- High flow capacity-drains 100 gals/min./ft (1250 L/min./m)
- Durable-unaffected by permanent immersion in water, bacteria, dilute acids, alkalis and hydrocarbons
- Economical-light weight, easy to use; replaces expensive, imported aggregate drainage layers, pipes and geotextiles
- Geotextile fabric filter-allows ground water to pass into the drain core while restricting the movement of soil particles
- High crushing strength-withstands pressures from backfilling and compaction with no loss of flow area
- Puncture and tear resistant-fabric has high strength to prevent damage during installation and operating conditions

Synthetic tablecloth of drainage
The ideal system for the protector of your bases
DESCRIPTION
Hydroduct ® 50 has prefabricated draining tablecloths, made up of an alveolar tablecloth associated with a polypropylene filter not woven. They constitute the economic alternative to the conventional systems of drainage of the buried walls. Water coming from the ground passes through the filter and runs out via the alveolar tablecloth towards the horizontal collecting drain. This last is connected to a discharge system and glances in accordance with the DTU the 20.1 polypropylene filter not woven of Hydroduct ® prevents the filling of the tablecloth. The filter associated with the great long-term resistance with the alveolar tablecloth guarantee the flow of the drainage.
FIELD OF APPLICATION
- Protector and drainage of the buried walls.
- Protector of the seals.
ADVANTAGES
Economic: speed of implementation, low width of the trenches, re-use of spoil for the fill.
Resisting: preserve its capacity draining in spite of the loads applied and effectively protects the sealings from accidental degradations.
Filter interdependent of the core preventing the filling of the drain.
Raised flow, up to 3.1 l/sec/m2 to 10 fill m.
