SAVE Programme is an IGV innovative lift product line for reducing space, installation time and costs by eliminating the traditional machine room.
SAVE Programme lifts can be customized with a wide range of layouts and finishes, and have been designed to provide the same safety standard as a regular lift installation.
They comply with the Lift Directive (95/16/EC), and are developed in conformity to the ISO 9000:2000 quality standards and to Annex XIII of the 95/16/EC Directive.
Each model of the SAVE product line is accompanied by an EC type examination certificate issued by a notified body.
SAVE Programme is an integrated and flexible system, due to the possibility of choosing between different conceptual paths (hydraulic and traction). The removal of the machine room and the flexibility of solutions, guaranteed by the IGV brand, make the SAVE Programme lifts the ideal choice for the designer, the installer and the end-user.

Lifts complying with OVERFIT model are characterised by the gearbox fitted inside the lift shaft, in the headroom; the control unit and the power supply and lighting switches are set inside the cabinet at the highest landing access.
Lifts comply with harmonised standard UNI EN81-1:2005.
Strong points
A machine room is not necessary, thus less room is needed.
The gearbox is totally integrated in the shaft and does not require any masonry works.
Inside the cabinet all the elements usually included in a traditional machine room are featured, such as the power supply and lighting switches, the thermostat measuring the temperature of the area and the lighting lamps.
The suspension is direct to the frame on one side and to the counterweight on the other.
Assembly is very easy.
The majority of the lift load is supported by the car guide rails and counterweight.

In the highest landing door a small sized service cabinet is incorporated, containing power supply and lighting switches, components needed for putting into service and adjust the installation and those needed to rescue passengers trapped in the car. In this case, control panel and machine maintenance operations are carried out inside the shaft, standing on the car top.

Freedom also makes a commercial elevator in addition to several residential and home elevators. The Freedom Commercial model can hold up to 1400lbs and moves at 30fpm. This type of elevator, which can only move 25 feet at a time, or between floors, is best suited for a three-floor office building, school, or church.
Cab dimensions for a Freedom Commercial elevator are 48 inches by 54 inches, with a height of 84 inches. The elevator doors are automatic side-slide, which are typical for commercial use. Inside, the cab has stainless steel fixtures and wall panels, but can also be customized with additional brass fixtures, and has a digital floor indicator. The doors can be customized, as well, to be walkthrough front to back or front to side. This elevator meets all US and Canadian code requirements, meets Limited Use Limited Application (LULA) commercial requirements, and is ADA compliant. In addition, the emergency functions of the elevator cab include battery powered lowering, cab lighting, alarm, and stop buttons.

Mitsubishi Electric was first to replace induction motors with highly efficient permanent magnet (PM) motors for high-speed and super high-speed elevators, fully developed in-house. Since PM technology is uniquely suited to miniaturization, permitting the development of a more compact gearless traction machine for high-speed elevators that boast a 2.0 to 4.0 meters per second (6.6 %u2013 13.1 ft./sec.) speed at a capacity up to 1600 kilograms (3,527 lbs.). Slim and efficient, the PM motor is a demonstration of Mitsubishi Electric proprietary stator core technology that results in a compact traction machine that%u2019s about 30% smaller in axial dimension than previous models.

The control panel that drives the PM motor incorporates the most advanced, low-loss IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) as well as optimal design. The result is a control panel less than half the size of previous models.

Installation can take up to ten days, but before installation, you should consult with your building department about putting in a new elevator. Before installation, the alarm signals from the fire and smoke alarms should be wired to the machine room, and the elevator site should be prepared with a permanent power to a fuseable disconnect box. A functional telephone jack should also be connected to the machine room.

With no pit, no machine room, and no hoist way, the Vision EC home elevator is designed to maximize living space and reduce construction in comparison to other home elevators. This home elevator only needs a reinforced wall for the rail and a floor cutout. But, like most other residential elevators, the Vision EC uses a hydraulic drive system. Inside the elevator, the cab has a 30 inch by 46 inch platform and 78 inch height and a recessed ceiling light.
The Vision EC moves at 25 feet per minute and has a 500lb capacity. This type of elevator is best for a multi-floor building with three or fewer floors, as it can only travel up to 23 feet at a time and can make no more than two stops. Emergency features for the Vision EC include battery powered lowering, automatic cab lighting, alarm, and stop buttons. Other features include an under-panel safety senor and top floor presence detector.

Freedom Elevator's Freedom 1500 model is a large economical home elevator with a hydraulic driving system. A Freedom 1500 elevator can hold up to 1500lbs, making it their largest size home model. The elevator's motor can run up to 40 feet per minute, and the elevator itself can travel to heights up to 50 feet with five stops. The elevator car has a height of 96 inches, and dimensions of the platform inside can be 40"x48", 44"x54", or 44"x60". Emergency features for this elevator include a battery-powered lowering function and lighting. In addition, Freedom 950 elevators come in a variety of finishes to match the wood in your home.
One of the Freedom 1500's unique features is automatic side-sliding doors, which are an upgrade from the accordion gates for most home and residential elevators. Side-sliding doors can be replaced with sliding or standard swing doors. This model also has four elevator door options. Standard doors include a front design, although side, walkthrough, and side walkthrough options are available as well. Walkthrough options are either 180 or 90 degrees apart.
Because this elevator is significantly larger than the Freedom 750 and 950 models, the installation is longer. Installing the Freedom 1500 home elevator will take from four to five days. In addition, a functional telephone jack should be running to the machine room prior to installing the elevator.

Freedom Residential Elevator's Freedom 950 model is an economical home elevator with a winding drum system. A Freedom 950 elevator can hold up to either 750lbs or 1000 lbs, depending upon the design. The elevator's motor can run up to 36 feet per minute, and the elevator itself can travel to heights up to 40 feet with five stops. The elevator car has a height of 80 inches, although some can have an extra feature to be extended to 95 inches, and dimensions of 35 inches wide and 48 inches deep inside. Emergency features for this elevator include a battery-powered lowering function and alarm and stop buttons. In addition, Freedom 950 elevators come in a variety of finishes to match the wood in your home and with four recessed ceiling lights inside.
Winding drum driving systems can be mounted in various locations, including at the tops of rails and, because a machine room is not required, this type of mechanism takes up little space. A winding drum system is as smooth and efficient as a hydraulic elevator and can do more than four stops over the same span of distance. Although installation requires most of the same parts and still takes from three to four days, the side should be prepared with permanent power and telephone jack near a fuse-able disconnect box.
