On a full-bodied linen ground, thick patches of colour with a raised effect reference the saturated colour of the works by the well-known American-Lithuanian artist, an exponent of abstract expressionism, an American artistic movement from the post-War years.

Part of the Ascension collection, Pop is a medium scaled circular pattern with surprising color combinations. This pattern is woven with 100% solution dyed nylon, which makes it very durable (passing abrasion at 150,000 double rubs) as well as highly cleanable (with a diluted bleach solution). Pop is also part of the Six Again program which means at the end of its useful life you can return it to our original yarn manufacturer for recycling.

Jhane Barnes Textiles introduces Prism, the latest addition to our fashion inspired collection. Woven in the USA by one of the most advanced textile mills, this lustrous design is set on a beautiful background, where squares of shimmering colors mix with playful stripes creating a lively and sophisticated design. To create this pattern, we formulated a generator in our software to take on the classic %u201Ceight queens puzzle%u201D, which is the problem of putting eight chess queens on an 8 by 8 chessboard such that none of them is able to capture any other using the standard chess queen%u2019s moves. The result is a beautiful weaveable pattern.

The Miao people of Guizhou province in south-west China are known for their centuries old tradition of elaborate embroideries and decorative textiles - Carly is subtly based on a Miao baby carrier from the 19th century. Beginning with the carrier's elaborate geometric motif, the Donghia Design Team has modernized and minimalized it, to get what you see today - a beautiful, modern abstract motif, which retains a sense of its Chinese origins.

Hexastripe takes its inspiration from the interlocking shapes of Chinese paving stones. Different shades and tones are broken into abstract geometry on a heavy linen ground. Harmonious palettes of colour and the manageable scale make it ideal for upholstering furniture.

The “Malachite” pattern was used extensively by Duquette for his own residence as well as for many of his clients. When designing jewellery, malachite stones were a favourite of Duquette. His interest and love for the stone translated to dishes, bound books, floors and tabletops. For Jim Thompson, Wilkinson found a length of Duquette’s original hand painted malachite fabric to be faithfully reproduced in rich colours. Wilkinson has also updated the design by including it in lapis lazuli blue, rose quartz pink, beige and honey-toned onyx.
