Panels
The Sotech.Optima Cassette Rainscreen cladding system has been developed as a cost effective cladding solution whereby panels may be fitted to a much simplified substructive where adjustability in all planes is not required. Such carriers can be pre-formed top hats or simple isolated timber batterns.
Support System
A fully adjustable system of cleats and carrier profile offers a hands free lining and levelling facility for cladding zones from 100mm to 320mm. The isolation of the structural bracket and fixing reduces thermal transmittance to a negligible level, making the substructure 'L' compliant.

FunderMaxExterior Alucompact 42 F with decors from the FunderMaxExterior collection are extremely resistant to fracture, large-format panels for cladding facades and balconies.
FunderMaxExterior Alucompact 42 F quality panels are duromer high-pressure laminates (HPL) as per EN 438-6, type EDF with extremely effective weather protection. The weather protective coating consists of double hardened acrylic polyurethane resins. They have a 0.42 mm thick aluminium strip underneath the decor layer on both sides. The aluminium strips give the panels extremely high tensile strength and rigidity. This enables the production of perforated balcony elements, or the spacing between the mounting points to be increased.

The bright, shiny surface associated with freshly laid copper will not remain for very long when exposed to the environment. It is often thought, for a variety of reasons, to be a disadvantage to have to wait for the natural patina to form. Therefore this patination treatment method, Nordic Green PLUS has been developed.
|
|
|
Flat copper sheets and strip used for building purposes are made of phosphor-dioxidised copper in various tempers, annealed, half hard or hard. The majority of copper roofing is undertaken in the long strip method using half hard temper.
|
|
Dark oxidized copper sheets and strips for building purposes
Nordic Brown has been developed in order to give a choice to architects. The dark oxidized surface is equivalent to the degree of natural oxidation obtained before the development of a green patina can be observed.
|
|
|
Nordic Cassette systems are designed for facades as well as ceilings and partition constructions in-house.

Alongside the traditional Costacurta S.p.A. - VICO production of steel components for industry (such as woven wire mesh, perforated plates, conveyor belts, reactor internals, separators and hexagonal meshes), a specific line of wire weaves for architecture has now been added: ARCHI-NET®. Wire cloth was born in the manufacturing industry to filter, separate and contain, depending on the function of the component that it is integrated into. It has now been 'lent' to architecture, which once again promotes the adoption of technologies created and developed in other sectors. The ARCHI-NET® wire cloth is an innovative non-traditional product that offers plenty of room for creativity: the harmony of its geometrical shapes, its shine, transparency and suppleness appeal to and stimulate the creativity of those able to appreciate its possibilities and imagine the extraordinary effects that this material can offer when skilfully used both for exteriors and interiors of buildings.
|
|
Type A.
It is a weave made of groups of ropes laid lengthwise (warp) and round wires laid crosswise (weft); it is a particularly flexible and resistant weave and permits varying degrees of transparency to be obtained depending on the diameter of the wires used and the distance between them.

Metal Rainscreens
Alongside our well-established terracotta product range, we have introduced a complimentary profiled aluminium rainscreen system, as part of the "Senses Range"
The initial range offers a mirror polished anodised finish, in a variety of colour hues, each having a depth and lustre, not usually associated with this type of finish.
The system uses the same backing structure technology as the Alphaton system, incorporating horizontal rails, clips and joint profile. They can be used either in conjunction with the terracotta, or Senses Hardwood rainscreen, or as an independent façade solution.
We have also developed a range of expanded metal mesh and perforated panels, offering diverse profiles and colours.
All of the Senses Range can be supplied complete with their bespoke primary and secondary support system.
More details on both of new product ranges will be available shortly.

As part of the Colt Universal Louvre range, Colt can provide acoustic louvre panels for mounting behind the louvre. Plant rooms, cooling towers, condenser plant and so on will produce sound pressure levels which may exceed existing or required noise criteria at prescribed distances from the building.
Colt offers attenuation for the Colt Universal and "E" Series Louvre Systems that will meet the most stringent criteria. If a single bank of elements does not provide the required noise control, a double bank may be specified. As an alternative, duct silencers may be selected to give the desired noise reduction.
To ensure the most economic solution, noise control must be considered at the earliest possible design stage. Retrofit installations of acoustic louvres can be significantly more expensive. If in doubt, please contact us.
There are two acoustic louvre models:
Type R
Optimum acoustic performance with normal pressure drop.
Type LP
Normal acoustic performance with minimum pressure drop.
Material of acoustic louvres
The outer casing shall be of no less than 1.2mm galvanised mild steel sheet. The acoustic louvre blades shall be of aerofoil configuration formed from 0.7mm perforated galvanised mild steel sheet on the inner surface and 0.7mm galvanised mild steel sheet externally.
Modules
Acoustic louvre banks over 1220mm wide and/or 3660mm high will normally be supplied as two or more modules for site assembly.
Infill
The infill shall be in organic mineral wool or glass fibre of 47kg/m³ density and packed under not less than 5% compression to eliminate voids due to settlement. The infill shall be inert, as well as vermin, rot and moisture proof.

TRISLOT grilles can also be used in a pure decorative application. As wall cladding, for interior or exterior use, the grille appears depending of the viewer position as a reflective or as a transparent surface. Compared to a metal mesh, for the grilles there is no need for a support construction and even complicated forms are possible.

Thanks to the scalloped nature of the shiplap panel, without shadow joints, it is a particularly unique façade cladding. The profile geometry combined with the effects of light and shade produces attractive shading and contours. Accurate prefabrication of the profile, based on detailed planning and determination of panel dimensions, guarantees optimum and efficient installation onsite.
|
|
|
With the flowing shape of the conventional sine wave, corrugated profiles have the appearance of filigree. The various types of installation - horizontal or vertical - allow both fine structuring and a clearly visible separation of the facade image. Soft effects of light and shadow allow the development of an aesthetically pleasing vitality, particularly on large surfaces.
|
|
|
Horizontal panels looks similar to reveal panels and are reminiscent of wooden façades. With a marginal profile on both edges, components are mounted indirectly with a special RHEINZINK-bracket profile, with a strictly defined 20 mm groove. Linear expansion due to changes in temperature can be accommodated, thanks to this technique.

2UL Universal Louvre is a roll-formed Double Bank Louvre System designed for applications requiring ventilation with a good degree of rain defence. For non- rain defence applications, see 1UL or ESC.
It is available either in deep or shallow section, as a horizontal or vertical louvre, with a wide variety of effects such as perforated or stucco embossed.
It may be combined with other Colt products such as rooflights and glazed facades.
See 3UL for triple bank Universal Louvre, the ultimate in rain defence performance.
How it works
1 Air and rain enters between the louvre blades.
2 Water is transferred to the second louvre where it is collected.
3 Water is transferred along the blades and into the hollow vertical mullion thus preventing re-entrainment, draining the collected water onto the cill.
Options
There are two front louvre profiles:
Shallow (50mm pitch)
Deep (100mm pitch)
The rear louvre always remains at 50mm pitch.
There are two arrangements:
Horizontal
Vertical
