Seat and backrest made with a circular plywood board (450mm diameter and 14mm thick), with 30mm thick polyurethane foam mats.
The set is covered with M-1 fireproof fabrics, with an additional underlying M-1 layer –shade to be chosen by the customer.
Fixing to the frame structure by means of steel plate (150x6mm).

Frame structure and legs made of entwined steel tube, with a circular section of 8mm. 80-Micron powder coat finishing –shade to be chosen by the customer- or chromed.
Each seat is a monoblock structure made of beech plywood, 12mm thick. Both the backrest and the seat have an asymmetric shape, and are finished with two layers of polyurethane varnish -shade to be chosen by the customer.
Upholstered version has the structure covered with polyurethane foam, 20mm thick. Upholstery: M-1 fireproof fabrics or M-2 flower leather.
Fixing to the frame support is achieved by means of a steel plate, 2mm thick. Welding to the frame is made under tested conditions, with bow of continuous thread. Seats are fixed to the plate at 4 different points by means of auto- blocking screws. |

Moulded in high-density CMHR polyurethane foam on a steel frame with sprung seat, Simon Pengellys' versatile hm86 chair is available on either a self-centering swivel base in matt grey or polished chrome finish, or on chrome-plated tubular steel legs. The steel leg version is also available in a dining chair height.
The hm86 beam seating system has polished chromed steel posts fixing the seats onto a steel beam. Feet are in chromed steel. Long seating runs can be formed using beam connectors. An optional table is included in the range.
