The frame is kiln-dried hemlock with a polystyrene insulation core. You may specify your door's facing in mahogany, MDO plywood*, tongue-in-groove cedar or T1-11 plywood. (Doors are not primed)

The Wayne-Dalton Optimal is our performance garage door and is supplied framed and pre-assembled for ease and speed of installation.
Excellent as a pre-assembled single-skinned steel door, it provides the perfect starting point. It can also be upgraded with a range of options : insulation, motorisation (with the factory-fitted iDrive%u2122 operator or the Twist electric opener), flexibility allowing it to be tailored to suit any preference. A keyed cylinder lock and corrosion-resistant galvanised fittings are fitted as standard on manual doors.
