| Larger than the Classic, and with the added attraction of a central porch entrance, the Victorian orginal was highly popular both as a working glasshouse for a medium to large garden, and as a garden room. Its charming proportions make a handsome centrepiece that would enhance even the most beautiful garden. |
|
| We at Hartley Botanic are proud to launch the new Victorian Chelsea model. The glass to ground structure has been designed specifically to suit the ever increasing needs of both the novice and experienced greenhouse grower, and is a welcome additon to the Hartley range of Glasshouses. |

| A botanical conservatory can be the most inviting room in the house - a quiet place to read, or a pleasant room in which to entertain, surrounded by plants and flowers. Lit by candlelight or moonlight, it becomes a magical place - regardless of the weather outside. |
|
| For the medium to small size garden, the Victorian Classic provides ample space and height for all your needs, whether growing from seed, producing prize chrysanthemums and giant sunflowers, or stringing up high, heavy-cropping tomato plants. Classic styling with decorative roof ridge cresting and finials, elegant proportions with generous height and a steep roof pitch, and a sturdy hinged door with brass furniture amply demonstrate its Victorian origins. Discreetly improved with safety glass throughout. |
|
| Smaller than the Victorian Classic, stepping into the new Hartley Planthouse can evoke some of the most magical feelings. The perfect place to repose, perhaps pick at tomatoes growing on the vine, or to nurture youthful green fingers, a planthouse is a sancuary. Imagine, therefore, a Hartley Planthouse where you can cultivate the rarest and most exquistie orchids for the home, indulge your passion for beautiful and rewarding hobby plants or create a climate suited to raising tropical ferns, palms and cacti, all for a smaller price. |

The considerable and variable demands of a large garden, small estate or commercial enterprise are catered for in impressive style by the Grand Lodge Glasshouse, which is almost 27ft in length. The central porch entrance offers double hinged doors for easy access, and the optional integrated cold frames can include rear venting to allow warm air through from the main interior.
There's plenty of space to accommodate different growing areas, especially with optional internal glazed partitions. With almost 13ft of ridge height the Grand Lodge will house even the most ambitious plans for giant palms and other tropical species.

The Alpine Glasshouse at RHS Garden Rosemoor, featuring a year round Alpine Plant display. Enhancing the ideal growing conditions for the more demanding species, the Glasshouse is used by both staff and students to learn new skills such as bulb forcing and the preparation and presentation of plants under glass in order to achieve a high quality display throughout the year.
The Alpine Glasshouse is the same basically in proportion to the Victorian Classic.
