HARDWOOD CLIP® expands its product range with the new Extreme4™ hidden fastener for installing wood decks.
We are pleased to announce the launch of the new HARDWOOD CLIP® Extreme4™ hidden fastener with a 4-mm thick integrated spacer for installing wood deck boards.
The Extreme4™ fastener is designed to let wood boards both expand and contract.
When wood with the appropriate moisture content is used, the Extreme4™ fastener ensures that there are no abnormally large gaps between boards and that they don’t abut against each other either.
The Extreme4™ fastener complements our existing professional product line of Extreme (2.4- mm spacer) and ExtremeKD (6.4-mm spacer) fasteners, so installers can select the fastening system best suited to their projects.
Extreme4™ fastener kits include Spax® self-tapping screws made of A2 stainless steel. The new fastener has the same features and benefits as our other products. HARDWOOD CLIP® is unique, because boards are screwed down to the joist at a 45° angle—just like in traditional installations.
The HARDWOOD CLIP® hidden fasteners comply with the highest technical requirements defined by the experts.
