Tubular Motor M series with manual override device
FAAC Spa has recently decided to add the M series to it’s tubular motor range of products for shutters, awnings, cassette awnings, commercial grilles and projection screens.
Compared to the standard versions, the M series adds the manual override function that allows to operate the motor even in the case of power cut-off. The motor head is made of aluminium in order to incorporate the unlocking mechanism and assure a good mechanical strength.
This type of product is specifically designed for those geographical areas where the electrical power is unstable, areas where a ups system is not applicable and where it is necessary to manage the opening/closure of a system even in critical applications (in example on the grilles of a commercial center).
The M series motors are available in mechanical limit switch type, with the diameter of the tube of 45mm (TM45 M with torque from 15Nm to 50Nm) for medium-heavy applications and of 58mm (TM58 M with torque from 70Nm to 120Nm) for heavy applications.
A wide range of dedicated accessories (adapters, supports, rods with hook, external radio receiver, remote controls etc) allows the installation of the FAAC tubular motor on many different applications.

In addition to the programming of the times, the integrated astro program, and the optional random check generator, sun and glass-breakage sensors can be connected. They ensure that your rooms are always optimally screened. The sensor functions have priority over the time functions: If the light intensity in the room is too high, for example, the Venetian blinds automatically lower even if a different lowering time has been programmed. Naturally, they can be controlled manually at any time.
