Made from natural material, either metal-free or with just 4 non-magnetic
sleeves for the supports.
Special feature
The bed is secured to the bedstead by a cotton cover padded with maize fibre. Loose frame inserts cannot be used. It is possible to choose between the Liforma and Torsana spring units and between soft and
firm mattresses. Overlay and type of support must be ordered separately.
Possible are round legs or bench supports with or without skids.
A Velcro fastener enables two single divans to be joined to form a double bed.

Gala offers a comprehensive assortment of headboards, panel models, valances and feet from which you will be able to build your own unique creation. The Gala panel frame can be fabricated either in wood/varnish, as a padded Gala panel variant, or with a valance. You can choose between bed widths of 80 to 200 cm, as well as between single and double bed versions with or without motor-adjustment.
Special feature: In the Gala model, the Schramm sleeping system is set into the panel frame.

The Basis bed program is one of Schramm’s two major bed lines.
Basis offers a large assortment of headboards, panel models, valances and feet. The basic panel frame is always padded or disappears behind a valance. It is possible to choose between a bed width of 80 to 200 cm and double bed versions with or without motor-adjustment. Special feature: bed frame and base mattress form a structural unity. The top mattress rests freely and snugly in the frame.

In 2004 we are presenting the Schramm Woody edition by designer Jörg Nokel. Its simple and distinct form, characterized by the 50 mm strong multiplex core, lends Woody its special appeal. At the same time, the bed’s four matte aluminium feet provide an almost levitating lightness which constitute a delightful contrast. An interesting surface is the austere bamboo: although bamboo is an exotic wood species, it is also a renewable resource and, as such, environmentally friendly. As a matter of course, Woody is available in all the versions of the Schramm sleeping system.

All tops have borders in solid wood. Headboard and wardrobe doors can be in ash wood with core webbing decoration, or upholstered with removable covers. The wardrobes with standard doors have melamine carcase; the ones whit sliding doors have the external parts in ash wood and the internal parts in melamine. Wardrobes are provided inside, on customer’s request, with drawers, shelves hangers. All drawers have metallic glides with autostopper. The desks are available in different versions, with or without refrigerator. Custom-made elements are also possible, offering a large choisefor the furnishing of any kind of room.

In 2002 Schramm launched the Urbana edition with the designer Ulf Moritz. Urbana, an island for sleeping during the night and for relaxing during the day, with movable shelves and an integrated storage area. Urbana lounge, a versatile piece of furniture for sitting, lying and sleeping, which allows a multitude of different arrangements by simply moving the modules.
