HEWI has developed the new guide signage system to match the lever handle 162 system. Simple, clear, internationally understood pictographs designed by Otl Aicher are used. HEWI uses these pictographs, which are still found in visual communications, for a new, plain and simple signage system with basic square dimensions in polyamide, aluminium and stainless steel.

This product is a total display system from way finding to monoliths including some illuminated components; for permanent and temporary information display.
Materials: extruded aluminium section 2.5mm thick and aluminium plate 2.5mm thick.
PVC (poly vinyl chloride) plate and PMMA (poly methyl met-acrylate) plate.
Finish: natural anodised aluminium. PVC (poly vinyl chloride) is opaque and PMMA (poly methyl met-acrylate) is clear.
To special order only powder coated (RAL colours).
The aluminium section is assembled from two half sections; it presents a rectangular profile with radiused visible corners. The open ends are finished by fitting a flat aluminium plate shaped to the rectangular profile.
Window versions; the clear PMMA windows are fitted with two options either flush to the aluminium or inset behind leaving a recessed edge.
For removal of temporary information the end plate can have a slot cut which will allow easy removal of the window plates; otherwise the end plates can be removed with a torx key.
Illumination of window versions is another option.
The range includes:
Wall hung versions; fixed by structural bondage or secret fix screws on the flat rear face.
Projecting versions; secret fixed to the wall via the flat end plate. Window options can be on one or both sides; illuminated versions also available.
Freestanding versions; on a circular aluminium baseplate. Temporary information window versions are available.
Totem versions; anchored to a concrete foundation by three anchor ties through three holes in an invisible 5mm thick stainless steel plate laser cut to the rectangular profile.
Suspended versions; these are suspended on two stainless steel wires.

The supports are made up as follows:
A square of 90 mm with dimensions, out of aluminum of 25/10ème enamelled epoxy red security RAL 3001 on which is screen printed the pictogram security of standard NF S 60-303. The support comprises a drilling milled to be able to be fixed using a milled capscrew.

These supports are composed of the following elements:
Part supporting the plans of the stages of the building makes up of 2 plates of LDC (poly methacrylate of methyl) polished songs the 3 mm thickness allowing insertion of a polyester film printed by laser writer or jet of ink. These plates are with the format A3 (297x420 mm).

The supports are fixed by screwing, with 4 capscrews milled.
