The drained sand filters Geokit equipped with a LDPE film is a kit that includes an anti-contamination geotextile, a filtration grid, a LDPE film a watertight cap flange and an adhesive flexible flange. A "puncture resistant" Geokit that comes with a puncture resistant geotextile is also available. A drained sand filter is mainly made of layers of sand and gravels. The purification process occurs thanks to the sand and the microorganisms lying among the grains. Effluents are later returned to the natural environment.

Reed bed geokit
Strongly concerned with sustainable development, Cultisol has been working for a long time on improving water sanitization and filtration techniques. In collaboration with Sint and Epur Nature (study bureau specialized in reed bed filtration systems), it launched the patented Autoepure Geokit for reed bed water filters (patent n. FR0757890). It is an optimized alternative inspired by large-scale wastewater treatment reed bed filter systems and traditional purification methods such as sand filters. This reed bed filter is a watertight basin with a "bed" of filtering granular material, where reeds are planted. The improvements made to this system were mainly focused on oxygenation, hydraulics as well as on the distribution of the effluent over the filtering bed. Autoepure reed bed filter is so far the only kit that can be used for these filtration systems. It can be custom made. It includes an EPDM geomembrane, puncture resistant geotextiles, a root barrier, a watertight cap flange and an adhesive flexible flange.

Anti-contamination geotextile
The anti-contamination geotextile is especially made for manure pipes, sand filters and mounds. It is in accordance with the new DTU XP 64.1 and with the CE norm (CE certification n.1213-CPD-3897). The anti-contamination geotextile is used for filtering, separating and protecting in small scale sewage treatment systems, and particularly in manure spreading.

Black LDPE 400µ film
Thanks to its 3-layer technology, the black 400 µ coextruded low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film is highly resistant. This film is rot-proof and watertight. The LDPE film is used in the film kits made for small scale sewage treatment to ensure further resistance to water for drained watertight sand filters, drained mounds and for compact application sand filters. It is also used in the non-drained sand filters as a lateral water resistance.

The Non Drained diffusion sink Geokit includes an anti-contamination geotextile and a filtration grid. The recent non Drained diffusion sink Geokit is also known as compact field. It aims essentially at reducing the height and the surface of infiltration while ensuring an excellent processing quality.
It is compact; therefore, it allows gaining space. It is available in various applications such as manure, sand filters and mounds. It is ideal for small scale sewage treatment for it allows gaining free space.

The non-drained mound Geokit includes an anti-contamination geotextile and a filtration grid. Mounds are external sand filters. In fact, mounds are deliberately constructed elevated earthen structures. They consist of sand and gravels that ensure water purification process. This means brings an compulsory pumping of the pretreated effluents in case the house is not high enough. Like sand filters, they are available in drained and non-drained versions.

Puncture resistant geotextile
Puncture resistant geotextile provide films and geomembranes with high protection against tearing and breaking. They are to be relied on in small scale sewage treatment systems such as sand filters and reed beds. They are also used in the "construction" of water reservoirs.

Filtration grid
The filtration grid, also known as geogrid, is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE). Highly resistant, it is extremely easy to use. It is mainly used for the filtration of wastewater. It also allows separating the layers of the various components of sand filters, mounds and other small scale sewage treatment systems.
