Designed as a fine, little armchair, Jamie doesn't just look the part. Unconventionally appealing, it politely begs to be occupied - treat yourself to a quick break. Craftsmanly details such as decorative stitching and piping give the armchair its unique character... |

The compact and rigorous design of Dafne is softened by the cylindrical back that repeats and amplifies the underlying curve of the lumbar support. This is a small armchair featuring compact geometric volumes.
A handle, inserted in the back, and two front wheels allow for easy movement of the armchair. The wheels have leather-covered centre caps; the rear legs have epoxy-painted metal feet in an aluminium finish. Upholstery is in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System range or Heritage leather. |

| A true modern classic. A new example of traditional craftsmanship applied to modern design. The shell is made from curved multi-ply beech wood, while the feet are made from fine steam-curved solid oak with an aged walnut finish. The perfect balance of lines, curves and thicknesses is thanks to the skilful manual techniques which feature the use of the Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System range, Heritage leather or RAF leather for the seat upholstery. The headrest cushion is height-adjustable. |

Le Baron can be used and placed in several interiors and places, such as living rooms, hotels, playrooms, schools and other places were children come. You can think of libraries, bookstores, bank buildings etc.
The arm chair is available in the colours red, blue, lime green, orange, anthracite and pink.

COLLECTION VISIONNAIRE
The charm of a royal palace, the magical appeal of the night: Visionnaire begins with the dignitg of an ancient gate that opens onto an unusual world. The dark inspirations, the esoteric references, and a feai decoratiue elements interpreted in euerg possible uariable recur as the strong elements of the Visionnaire stgle. Visionnaire is the dream of a world that expresses a nearly-Baroque decoratiue quest, the excellence of form, and the sophistication of materials. Just as in an ancient residence, the spirit of the enuironments plays with the hidden, multi-faceted, unconscious side of the indinidual: the house is the staging of a life full of fascination, and references to a ujorld that is not exhausted by reality. Black and ujhite close the circle: in the perfection of their symmetry, they explain the attaction of opposites, dark and light, night and day. Whit* Gothic also designs interiors folloujing an absolutely personal, is a dream of the opposite, in wich mystery and the night seem to find some peace In the milky glare of the day... but it's only an impression, this time is not that of reality.

|
| streamlining needn't be confined to automobile design, as can be seen from the DS 57, an individual piece of furniture which calls to mind a 1930's racing car both to look at and to sit in. The steep rake of the seat that caracterises this club chair is due to the wedgeshaped base, which is either in solid glazed oak or sprayes with impact-resistant highgloss lacquer. This model is also available with an adjustable head rest built in. |

| The DS-5 exudes a sense of infinite peace. A peace that is nigh on tangible: … "tranquillo" describes it to a T! Antonella Scarpitta has in fact done nothing other than design seating cubes with slim elegant armrests that virtually float above the ground. The result is Italianità, purist-elegant lines and an item of furniture just made for the lounge, where the spirit of dolcefarniente can be celebrated each day to the full. The deep backrests so typical of the lounging style fold up individually to make the snuggest of supports. The DS-5 reflects in all the facets of its design an "inner rightness", a faultless balance between comfort and elegance. Its height above the ground gives it a distinctive appeal that invites us to kick off the shackles of terra firma. |
|
| Ever since she created her DS-7 and DS-5 models, Antonella Scarpitta's name has stood for design that simply will not countenance the commonplace. In form and content, this new sofa follows on from the ideas behind her DS-5 and bears all the hallmarks of a design masterpiece, incorporating the inspiration of seeking aesthetic appeal in elegant simplicity. Its overwhelming attraction springs from a daring interplay of materials that harmoniously melds the steel geometry of its frame with the superlative smoothness of the leather upholstery. With its backrest slightly higher than in the DS-5, Antonella Scarpitta's new creation is the epitome of genuine excellence. Her inimitable design makes everything visible - an entire grammar of unencumbered form and understated elegance. The DS-4 is a clear affirmation by the designer of her commitment to plumb the depths of a particular style. Her skill lies not in continually producing different shapes and forms or flaunting a vast array of materials, but in her fundamental belief that furniture should be endowed with a clear identity. It is this concept that makes the seating Antonella Scarpitta creates so sublimely unique. |

| Much of the renowned Bauhaus metal furniture could not be obtained in Europe after World War II. To fill the gap Robert Haussmann created in 1954 his famous metal armchair RH-301, “Hommage à Mies van der Rohe” made from chrome plated steel - a tip of the hat to his great idol, Mies van der Rohe. With the armchair RH-301 Haussmann was also reaching back ideally to the Bauhaus maxime, according to which the form of a product and the material used should correspond with its actual purpose. Haussmann solved this task brilliantly with RH 301 and in turn his achievement was acknowledged impressively with the award “compasso d’oro”... |

LEAVING EARTH’S GRAVITY BEHIND
Like a new grammatical declension in the idiom of design, the lines of the DS 256 from the de Sede Design Team forge an organic whole. It represents a purity of concept, an armchair that appears cast in a single stroke. With its one-piece upholstery, the chair exudes an unbearable lightness of being: its edges and curved sections strikingly underscored by the lapped seams. The unpretentious subframe with its discreetly flowing circular aluminium base-plate merges smoothly into the design of the armchair. Its tilt mechanism, height adjustment and comfortable angle of inclination give the DS 256 all the classic qualities of a handmade shoe from a master-cobbler’s last: it ensures an absolutely perfect fit. Its soaring armrests mirror the rhythmic wing beat of a flamingo. Sitting in this armchair, you rise effortlessly above the irksome tug of bourgeois gravity. It challenges us to reconsider the rigid concepts of form and function. |
