The playful design of the DS 164, its escape from the thraldom of linear pattern liberates the living environment from the shackles of the humdrum. As if it were a joyful metaphor for a classic cliché from the world of films: man and woman sitting together in a bathtub, face to face, letting those little tales of everyday events drift slowly by. The '85 Chateau Mouton Rothschild perfectly rounds off the picture of well-being. It is the warm feeling that ensnares us when we stretch out in the DS 164 Tête-à-Tête: in total all-embracing contentment. This de Ruiter sofa celebrates with us a veritable feast of the senses, which themselves are just that tad confused: nothing remains quite as it shall become!

can be unzipped from the rest of the cover. Model with fully removable covers only in the fabric version.

The model is enriched by a mechanism to adjust the position of the headrest of each back cushions in order to assure the comfort of a high backrest without losing its design lines.

Seat cushions: central core made up of harmonic steel springs enclosed with non-woven fabric and separated by sheets of polyurethane foam of different densities covered by feather quilt and cotton fabric / polyester. Loose cushions: feather filling and roll with cotton fabric/polyester. Suspension: interwoven elastic belts. The block wood feet are available in the following colours: walnut, mahogany and whitened.
