CW 86 enables cassette façades to be built using a traditional stick structure (CW 86). It also enables unitised façades (CW 86-EF) to be completely pre-assembled in the workshop that results in a high
execution speed on the building site. CW 86 is available in Structural Glazing (SG) and Cassette Glazing (CG). The system enables the
motorisation of opening elements such as top hung or parallel opening windows. Different types of windows, doors, sliding systems and brise soleil can be integrated. Different inner and outer colours are possible.

1、Unitized Curtain Wall System:
Project: 6 Mort Street, Australia
The unitized curtain wall system is usually applied on the buildings which have a uniform exterior wall design. It can control and ensure the overall quality of the product; ensure the accuracy of installation; shorten the construction period considerably; provides "flexible skin" which enables the curtain wall to withstand building movement and thermal movement; provides an effective water drainage system and a pressure-equalized system.
2、Stick Curtain Wall System:
Project: North Tower Smaralind, Iceland Europe
The stick wall system can be used on any type of structure or exterior wall. These systems tend to work best on highly intricate or articulated wall designs.
3、Hybrid Curtain Wall System:
Project: Highline 23 Tower, New York
The hybrid wall system is best for use on buildings where a compromise between a unitized wall system and a stick wall system is required due to design or construction issues. It tends to use the better qualities of each to allow smaller, more manageable units.
4、Window Wall System:
The window wall system design is typically utilized on buildings where the structure conflicts with the exterior wall zone forcing the windows to run intermittently between floor slabs.
The window wall design achieves a reasonable amount of performance against air and water infiltration and does tend to surpass the curtain wall in acoustic ability (basically between floors).

MX SSG is a system creating a flush-fitted glass façade, combining the use of fixed glazing units, top-hung vents and glazed spandrel panels.
The appearance of structural glazing is achieved by using profiles that are only visible on the room side. From the outside, only the glazing and slender shadow joints are visible.
MX SSG use the same grid system as MX Visible Grid or Trame, allowing specifiers to vary the aesthetics of the building envelope without the need of additional interface detailing and construction.
Fixed frames with an infill of 30 to 32.8mm for the vision parts.
Spandrel panels with glazing of 6 or 8mm.
Maximum dimensions : W 2.00m * H 3.50m.
Available as a flat façade or faceted up to 6°.
Concealed top-hung windows of 23 or 31mm (Max. weight from 80 to 120 kg and size W 1.50m * H 1.50m).
Construction
A continuous aluminum profile is integrated by the glass manufacturer between the 2 glasses inside the silicone chamber for the fixation on the curtain wall structure.
Carrier frames are securely fitted onto the curtain wall grid using aluminium toggle pieces screwed on the transoms and mullions.
The ABS interlayer is not interrupted in way of fixing the glass to ensure optimal thermal performance and the continuation of silicone seal between refills.

MB-SG60 The mullion-transom inverse curtain wall with structural glazing
The façade structure is composed of the inverse mullion-transom system, which means that supporting aluminium profiles are located outside, whereas from the inside – the smooth glass surface can be seen, constructed using the structural glazing technology. The inclination angle of the façade to the vertical is equal to 10o at the outside. The visible external width of mullions and transoms is equal to 60 mm. The mullion-transom framework is designed as the element structure, which means that all preliminary and connecting works are conducted in the production workshop. Transoms are connected with half-mullions with the help of special aluminium connectors and the stabilising screws, what results in a very rigid framework, and enables proper compensation of the horizontal thermal expansion joint. The vertical thermal expansion joint is realised through the special mullion-mullion connector. In the system, the combined scheme of drainage and ventilation was applied, i.e. the drainage channels in mullions and transoms profiles are connected with each other. Additionally, in the middle of each area, the drainage-ventilation hole is made. In order to ensure very high thermal insulation of the profiles, the system is introduced with the insulator made of a special material, which makes the thermal insulation coefficient Uf for the frame equal to 1.64 [W/m2K]. Furthermore, a special central gasket was applied which improves significantly the acoustic insulation of the breaks and provides the additional tightening features.

Facade systems
Creating open spaces. Realising creative concepts. Understanding architecture as an idea. This is the challenge we face.
For public and commercial buildings, as well as for industrial and administrative buildings. Whether classical mullion-transom façades, element façades, window façades, structural glazing or even three-dimensional objects, such as pyramids, polygons or cradle vaults.
With WICTEC façade systems, all conceivable variants are possible. Design diversity combined with technical variability are what we do best. Sight lines of 50 to 90 mm give rise to completely new creative freedoms. The possibilities for combining the different elements, as well as the compatibility of the systems, enable customised solutions.
However, there is more to façades than technical functionality and creativity; "intelligent façades" are becoming increasingly important. Energy savings, lower costs and greater quality of life are the keywords. Today, the focus is on the development of photovoltaic-, PSW- (passive solar wall) and DuoWall-façade systems. Here, too, WICONA offers a comprehensive range that is being extended and developed on an ongoing basis.

The new thermally broken façade system Schüco SFC 85 (Stick Frame Construction) in the form of a structural glazing variation can provide particularly high value architectural solutions for curtain walling. As a result of the opening units being integrated flush with the façade, the fixed lights and opening units appear identical, both outside and inside.
The tested Schüco system solution with three types of glazing and a new generation of fittings provides great freedom in façade design.

SG50 Series uses the same structural grid sections designed for the SL50 system. Since the glared panels are installed from the outside t is possible to cover the wall parapet of the building or portions of the walls that are completely Wind.
This system is especially suitable for the construction of curtain walls with a limited number of open-able elements: it can be used in integral structural solutions or with mixed solution is, with horizontal coverings and vertical sealing or vertical covering and horizontal Sealing.
