CW 50 is a curtain wall facade and roof system that offers unlimited creative freedom and allows maximum entrance of light into the building. CW 65-ElementFaçade enables unitised façades to be completely preassembled in the workshop. This results in a high execution speed on site. Productivity here however embraces architectural esthetic requirements as the CW 65-EF works with slender profiles of only 65 mm. The slender profile is very strong and can be used for maximum widths of 1600 mm and heights up to 3700 mm. The façade system is thus very well suited for high-rise constructions. Profiles can easily be adapted to fit project depending requirements.
CW 65-EF provides increased insulation with an Uf value of up to 2.6 W/m²K. The Opening elements such as a top hung and parallel opening window can also be integrated into the system. CW 65-EF is available in Structural Glazing which is utilised in a very aesthetic fashion. The only border between two glass plates is a minimal joint of 16 mm, which is finished off with a recessed EPDM seal. The glass plate itself is glued directly onto a preassembled frame, thereby reducing the required number of components and minimising the construction time.

CW 86 enables cassette façades to be built using a traditional stick structure (CW 86). It also enables unitised façades (CW 86-EF) to be completely pre-assembled in the workshop that results in a high
execution speed on the building site. CW 86 is available in Structural Glazing (SG) and Cassette Glazing (CG). The system enables the

Construction
The mullions and transoms are square cut and assembling using a combination of cast face-fixed junction spigots and concealed anti-rotation spigots for ease of fabrication.
The faceted glazing option uses a standard cast face-fixed spigot for a facet of +-10°, and a transom block with specially designed pressure plate, caps and adaptators for 10° to 20° facets.
Weather Performance
The MX visible grid system is thermally isolated using a 34mm TPE thermal break between the pressure plate and mullion or transom.
This ensures a superior thermal performance in line with the required building level to achieve.
A pressure plate holds the infill in place with a combination of EPDM gaskets and allows for zone drainage with pressure equalization using punched slots into the pressure plates and caps.

POLIEDRA-SKY
The system Poliedra-Sky 50 is part of the evolution process of METRA Systems for the building industry, enabling together with its versions Poliedra Sky 50 I and Poliedra Sky 50 S to design and fabricate curtain walls or aluminium frameworks (combined with glass, stone or composite materials) of different shapes and dimensions, offering a wide range of functional and aesthetical solutions. State-of-the-art curtain wall systems are based on unitized technology. Unitized curtain wall is shop-fabricated, shop-glazed, and installed as individual frames or ‘units’. Frames are normally one lite wide and one storey high, but double-width and double-height frames are not uncommon. The ‘added-value proposal’ behind unitization centers around performing all possible labor in the shop (not on site), because:
- Unitized installation allows the Builder to close in the building quickly, normally steps behind the concrete pours, getting Inside Trades to work, and hastening turnover and commercialization of the building
- Unitized fabrication enhances quality control (and minimizes defects in workmanship) by performing all possible work in factory-controlled conditions. Critical workmanship includes application of joint seals, priming and curing of structural silicones, installation of gaskets, and related quality inspection
- Unitized installation minimizes field labor costs by transferring labor operations into the shop wherever possible. Fully-unitized systems include shop-installation of all in-fills (glazing, spandrel, panels, stone, etc). More sophisticated systems even have the glazing caps shop-installed, so Trades do not have to work outside of the building envelope on the main portions of the curtain wall.

YCW 750 SplineTech%u2122 is the latest addition to YKK AP's very successful line of curtain wall glazing systems. The new system shares many of the same features, options, and accessories with the YCW 750 outside glazed curtain wall system, but it is designed to simplify fabrication and assembly. All intermediate horizontal members are attached employing YKK AP's patented screw spline technology. The 1202 Kawneer system offers various depths of uprights and crosspieces to facilitate adaptation to all project constraints, from curtain cladding and semi-curtains, to plane panelled and faceted. The 1202 cladding has the advantage of no height limit.
Depending on requirements, the cladding can be equipped with French-style openings, fixed hinge windows, tilt/turn windows and windows with an Italian-style frame invisible from the outside.

The AA 210 is a quick installation modular curtain wall for vertical cladding.
The construction principle allows for significant reduction in the amount of time for installation on-site, in order to suit the pace of the main construction.

When accentuated sightlines are desired on the exterior of the building with minimal framing visible from the interior, Series 6000 is the product for your building. This system is "reversed" from the conventional curtain walls of today with the structural element of the wall to the exterior of the building with small trim caps to the interior. Gaskets are available with factory molded corners. Continuous horizontal gutters result in superior air and water performance. Glass is set from the interior of the building reducing field installation costs. The Series 6000 is available in a standard 3" wide x 6-3/4" deep offering but can be customized to the specific needs of any project.

MX SSG is a system creating a flush-fitted glass façade, combining the use of fixed glazing units, top-hung vents and glazed spandrel panels.
The appearance of structural glazing is achieved by using profiles that are only visible on the room side. From the outside, only the glazing and slender shadow joints are visible.
MX SSG use the same grid system as MX Visible Grid or Trame, allowing specifiers to vary the aesthetics of the building envelope without the need of additional interface detailing and construction.
Fixed frames with an infill of 30 to 32.8mm for the vision parts.
Spandrel panels with glazing of 6 or 8mm.
Maximum dimensions : W 2.00m * H 3.50m.
Available as a flat façade or faceted up to 6°.
Concealed top-hung windows of 23 or 31mm (Max. weight from 80 to 120 kg and size W 1.50m * H 1.50m).
Construction
A continuous aluminum profile is integrated by the glass manufacturer between the 2 glasses inside the silicone chamber for the fixation on the curtain wall structure.
Carrier frames are securely fitted onto the curtain wall grid using aluminium toggle pieces screwed on the transoms and mullions.
The ABS interlayer is not interrupted in way of fixing the glass to ensure optimal thermal performance and the continuation of silicone seal between refills.

MB-SG60 The mullion-transom inverse curtain wall with structural glazing
The façade structure is composed of the inverse mullion-transom system, which means that supporting aluminium profiles are located outside, whereas from the inside – the smooth glass surface can be seen, constructed using the structural glazing technology. The inclination angle of the façade to the vertical is equal to 10o at the outside. The visible external width of mullions and transoms is equal to 60 mm. The mullion-transom framework is designed as the element structure, which means that all preliminary and connecting works are conducted in the production workshop. Transoms are connected with half-mullions with the help of special aluminium connectors and the stabilising screws, what results in a very rigid framework, and enables proper compensation of the horizontal thermal expansion joint. The vertical thermal expansion joint is realised through the special mullion-mullion connector. In the system, the combined scheme of drainage and ventilation was applied, i.e. the drainage channels in mullions and transoms profiles are connected with each other. Additionally, in the middle of each area, the drainage-ventilation hole is made. In order to ensure very high thermal insulation of the profiles, the system is introduced with the insulator made of a special material, which makes the thermal insulation coefficient Uf for the frame equal to 1.64 [W/m2K]. Furthermore, a special central gasket was applied which improves significantly the acoustic insulation of the breaks and provides the additional tightening features.
