Contemporary building technologies demand ever increasing standards of thermal insulation combined with appropriate levels of solar control. SunGuard High Selective products are designed to reflect specific wavelengths of solar radiation, ensuring that whilst most of the heat is reflected out of the building, the maximum amount of natural daylight is transmitted inside the building. The resulting energy savings for the heating, cooling and lighting provide improved design flexibility for the architect.

While satin-finish glass became a classic façade covering years ago, “decorated” glass is still less commonly. Of the examples that can be seen, some are extremely interesting and pleasing to look at. It was a natural development for Vitrealspecchi to offer solutions that optimise cost/benefit calculations for this sort of application. This glass is the fruit of the Vitrealspecchi’s collaboration with the architect Ivo Pellegri (decorative patterns) and Sipam (structural design) and it showcases the interaction of décor and technology. Stopsol Supersilver, for example, is a classic pyrolytic glass for solar control applications that’s been given special Vitrealspecchi etching treatment: in double glazing it interacts with a clear or satin-finish back pane to produce dynamic textures and certain striking effects also visible on large surface areas of glass at a distance.
Methods of assembly in double glazing units and the processes supported by the glass depend on the characteristics of the base materials used: Madras® etching does not alter performance characteristics but does extend aesthetic potential. Standard plate size: 2250 x 3210 mm, thickness: up to 12 mm.

As their name suggests, solar control glasses help control the amount of solar energy that enters a building.
Solar control glasses save money by reducing the amount of energy used by heating and air conditioning systems and boost comfort levels inside the building by controlling indoor temperatures and light levels.
Solar control performance, as expressed by the glass' solar factor, will vary according to:
the quantity of heat absorbed by the glass
and the quantity of reflected heat.
Product range:
coloured Planibel body-tinted glasses;
Stopsol and Sunergy pyrolitic hard-coated glasses;
Stopray vacuum coated glasses;
Artlite silkscreen-printed glasses.
Reflective solar-control glazing
Reflecting glasses offer privacy and visual comfort
Multiple combinations of solar control and light transmission levels
Hard-coated glass (metal oxide coatings applied using a pyrolitic process)
Stopsol reflective glazing offers architects limitless creativity: a single glass can be used for all applications
Application: single glass - double glazed units - laminated glass - toughened glass - enamelled glass
Benefits
Reflective glasses providing privacy and visual comfort
Multiple combinations of solar control and light-transmission levels and various colours
Stopsol reflective solar-control glazing offers architects limitless creativity: one range can be used for all applications
The lifespan of the coating is the same as that of float glass

OKAFLEX Flexible Light Control
Variable illumination, flexible room utilisation - OKAFLEX helps to precisely steer daylight.
OKAFLEX, the thermal protection glazing with integrated lamella jalousie provides as much sun protection as necessary and as much daylight as possible. Glare and sight protection are also adjustable. All systems have been checked for heat resistance, fogging resistance and permanent load. Additionally, OKAFLEX is distinguished by the following properties:
TSET till 0,8% possible and Ug-value up to 1,1 W/(m²K) | 0,19 Btu/(h ft² °F) is possible.

Koolglass is a laminated glass EVASAFE with an insertion of a microphone-blind of the Venetian type.
It can be assembled in all the forms: rectangular, trapezoidal, circular, plane glasses or convex glasses.
KoolGlass stops radiation UV, thus limiting the deterioration of the colors.
It offers a solar protector of high performance by removing the dazzling, allowing a perfect visibility towards outside.
Gone up in glazing insulation, it decreases the temperature behind the glazings exposed until 10°C, Retardateur of effraction, Koolglass attenuates also the produced noises (average and high frequencies).

Cheer up the drab routine
Daylight easily searches you out and finds its way to you. A secluded retreat, yet also an open room. A pragmatic approach, which combines business with pleasure.
Background noise and weather bounces unnoticed off the protective glass wall. In good weather, the minimalist system slides to one side, flooding the room with sun. Thus giving you the most with the least. Don't settle for average.
The Solarlux SL 25 slide and turn system offers light permeability par excellence. The uninsulated glass panels provide protection against wind, rain and sound up to 17 dB.
