This product is used as a thermal or acoustical insulation in commercial buildings where wide rolls of unfaced insulation are required such as retrofitting a warehouse. It is also used in post frame construction. In roofs and sidewalls this product can be used as a second layer over the unfaced side of Metal Building Insulation 202-96. Additionally, it may be installed over old roof decks (BUR and metal) prior to application of a new standing seam roof.

Improve the comfort in adjacent rooms - add insulation to the basement. It’s easy & cost effective. For use in semi-finished or unfinished residential and commercial basement areas.
Basement wall insulation comes in two facings—white PSK and standard FSK—and is designed for use in both residential and commercial applications where code or builder preference specifies an insulated basement area. Both facings are perforated. Both products comply with ASTM C 665, Type II, Class A.
This product is intended for use in applications where the insulation will be left exposed. It can be applied either half-wall or full-wall. (Half-wall is not recommended for hollow block walls; they should be insulated full height.)

Knauf Insulation glass wool (also known as glass mineral wool or fiber glass) is branded as Crown® and Thermolan® and finds its way into thousands of residential and commercial buildings as well as into OEM applications.
Knauf Insulation glass wool insulation solutions protect you from cold, heat, noise and fire, providing you with:
Thermal insulation: energy efficiency in buildings is a key point to choose your insulation material. The heat conductivity is measured by the y factor where a lower value means a better thermal insulation. Knauf Insulation glass wool is limiting the heat transfers that happen via conduction.
Acoustic insulation: thermal insulation is one of the components that have an impact on the comfort of your building. But your bulding must also grant you with a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. The higher the acoustic absorption, the better the acoustic insulation. Knauf Insulation glass wool is well suited for sound absorption and particularly for high sound frequencies.
Fire protection: safeguarding your lives and property from fire and its effects, increasing your safety at home and at work.
Easy installation: lightweight and superior roll length. Thanks to its high level of compression and lightweight, glass wool makes it easy to transport and lift to the roof. Its superior roll length also makes the installation very easy.
Knauf Insulation is committed to offering you products which give you this protection everyday, increasing comfort and safety.
Knauf Insulation... protecting your world!

The Visionvent is a thermally broken Hinged Flat Roof vent, the Visionvent can be installed on a flat (Minimum 3 degrees) or pitched roof, or even incorporated into our Flushglaze rooflight for large areas of glazing where there is a requirement for ventilation. The product has been designed with a minimal amount of visible internal framework and concealment of the electrical operators within the frame, giving a 100% clear glass area.
The unique features of the Visionvent roof light include flush glazing allowing water to run straight off, high security with concealed mechanisms and large size capability 3m2 on electric vent. Dual colour as standard to match both inside and external finishes.

The Flushglaze fixed flat glass skylight can be tailored to meet many shapes and sizes from square, rectangular, triangular and a recently completed tear drop shaped. Glazing Vision will identify and design the rooflight to meet your needs. The Flushglaze is a very low profile system based on car windscreen technology, the glass being structurally bonded and triple sealed making it ideal for flat roof applications on a pitch of only 3-5 degrees. This reduces water ponding and condensation risks to a minimum by the elimination of internal flashings and metal framework and can be installed on flat or sloped roof applications. The rooflight can be extended to any length like ribbon glazing by linking sections either with glass to glass silicone seals, back to back angles or glass fins.

The Cosmos, sliding over roof rooflight, retracts in one-panel onto the roof creating a 100% clear opening. All the glass used is flush to allow water run off and easy cleaning.
All Glazing Vision sliding rooflights are low-noise in operation and have built in electronic solid-state controls with battery back-up, manual override, speed control and creep-speed sealing at end of travel as standard. Units are factory pre-assembled and tested, usually craned into position, fitted and commissioned within day.

Due to the popularity of our roof terrace access rooflights, the designers at Glazing Vision have developed a design principle which can be used to offer a standard solution in both a free standing box rooflight or a 3 wall mounted version. Using these design principles cost and lead time reductions can be passed onto the customer.
The Sliding box rooflights are a great option for terraced access as it offers a physical structure and the fixed walls of glass provide a balustrade around the opening. It also allows you to continue your handrail right up to the point of leaving the box and stepping onto the roof terrace. The box rooflight consists of two sections, one fixed section and one sliding section. The sliding section slides over the fixed section to create 50% clear opening thus allowing the user to walk through and out of the rooflight. All the glass used is flush to allow water run off and easy cleaning, whilst maintaining maximum security.

A 45 degree frameless glass Pyramid rooflight with manual/electric hinged opening or fixed variants. The clarity and longevity of glass ensures fantastic light transmission throughout the life of the building, typically 50% more than plastics over its life cycle. The shape of the P2000 gives an excellent concentration of light and self cleaning characteristics with a stylish frameless design. Available in square or elongated configurations. Larger dimensions can be supplied as a bespoke glazing project, a bespoke bi-parting/sliding option is also available.

Often viewed as being out of date, there are still good reasons to specify the use of patent glazing. Where there is a need to match the style of the building, patent glazing will complement the design.
Where minimal intrusions are required, the use of the inverted 'T' sections allows head heights to be maximized. Roof vents will need to be framed, rebated and gasketed - needing a patent glazing bar.
With a variety of thermally broken patent glazing bars available we are able to accommodate different loadings, subject to calculating the pitch of the roof, glass weights, etc.

Roof Lights - Structurally Silicone Bonded
Rather than relying on a traditional aluminium framework such as 'patent glazing' to support the double-glazed panels, why not have the glass do all the work?
Glass is a very strong material and can support great loads (see 'glass flooring' for more information). Also, the air within the double glazed units is a good insulator - hence the reason why it is hermetically sealed, to stop heat/cold transference.
Designing the glass roof light to be self-supporting, with no aluminium supports, results in a much lighter appearance, giving designers and their clients a bigger 'wow factor', and at the same time being more effective and efficient in insulating the property into which it is installed.
Glass is strong enough to cope with some significant loads, and is able to span up to 1700mm without deflecting (based on a 10mm toughened outer sheet, 16mm spacer and a 6mm toughened inner sheet).
