A monitor support is used to hold one or many monitors. It may be freestanding, table-top, wall- or ceiling-mounted. Its height and angle are often adjustable.
These devices hold flat television or computer screens in the home. In the office, they can support multiple screens and save desk space. Adjustable models allow users to position the monitor to meet their needs. They are found in retail, commercial and public spaces as part of information or advertising displays.
Consider the number, size and weight of the monitors the support is designed to hold and its attachment method. Determine the need for adjustable height and angle. Other factors include stability, resistance to impact and fire, and ease of maintenance. Style and fasteners should be compatible with the monitors.
