The capability to produce with maximum effectiveness and efficiency, Is what guides Alfa Lum in the design and construction of its windows. On one side there are the benefits offered by the wood, such as the natural warmth and functionality, on the other side the longevity of the aluminium insures tangible benefits in the everyday life.
Alfa Lum uses special screws to join the external aluminium component with the inner wooden component for the fixed part (frame) and for the mobile part (door leaves). The major benefit of this method is that the wooden component can be easily replaced. Moreover this method avoids the need to remove the window and ensures the two sashes do not touch to allow for different expansion rates of the two materials. On the external aspect the stability and the solidity are guaranteed by the structural function of the aluminium, while wood is used for aesthetic purposes. In fact, aluminium frames offer more resistance to twisting forces and damages caused by weather conditions, in order to guarantee global protection, Alfa Lum applies multiple locking hardware to the solid bearing structures, equipped with hooked door latches to the frame located on the window to insure total protection.

SCRIGNO BASE
This system permits a sliding door to be concealed and is the simplest model for enhancing environments and gaining vital extra space.
It is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and box rooms where it is essential to save space, but also suitable for all other rooms in the home. It can also be used in other buildings such as hotels and restaurants.
Available for masonry and plasterboard walls.
Also available in non-standard sizes, in heights varying to the nearest centimetre.
SCRIGNO BASE DOUBLE
This system allows two opposite sliding doors to be concealed in recesses on the left and right of the wall opening. It requires the installation of two metal boxes. With Scrigno Base Double, two adjacent rooms can be transformed into a single space easily and practically.
Available for masonry and plasterboard walls.
Also available in non-standard sizes, in heights varying to the nearest centimetre.
A handy mechanism for simultaneous door opening can be fitted on request. |

An exclusive product that results from our long experience. Eclisse LUCE is the first counterframe that allows drawing the wires and mounting the electric boxes (max. 5 on each side) in the wall hosting the disappearing doors. A further opportunity to save space and customise it.

- When fully opened, a wide doorway is created although it is possible by means of the telescopic system to have the doors partially open.

The new concept in box frames
KLOSE is a patented system that softly closes the sliding door without the use of electric automatisms or counterweights. It is silent, completely hidden in the box frame and does not vibrate.
KLOSE is highly functional, thanks to the possibility to adjust the door sliding speed, and the accident prevention system fitted that slows the door as it closes.
The system can support doors with a maximum width of 1000 mm and max. weight 80 kg.
No indiscrete peeking
KLOSE maintains order and privacy with its speed-adjustable self-closing system, with no electric automatisms or counterweights.
KKLOSE is an AMBIDEXTROUS system
If it is possible to remove the frames and transoms from both sides, KLOSE can be installed for both left- and right-hand opening. Simply invert the assembly position (from external to internal) of the racks, pulley and cable to make it universal. |
