The island of the Meeting launched in 2008 the project GERRI which fits directly in the step of Grenelle of the Environment. In this favorable context, the Area Meeting undertook great work with the level of these buildings by integrating a photovoltaic component. The college Bel Air is an exemplary reference in this field. This project of 750 kWc is also the fruit of the partnership between Solar Energies and Apex BP Solar. After the development of many projects whose BEAUTIFUL college AIR, Apex LP Solar has in this end of the year with Solar Energies (Case of the deposits and Aérowatt participation) a new program concludes from solar power stations in overtaxation from roofings connected to the network from a capacity of 2,3 MWc under installation. This program 2008 door on the equipment of industrial, commercial and public buildings with the Meeting, in Guadeloupe and of the colleges in Guyana. The entire investment represents approximately 20 million euros. Taking into consideration already identified and made safe project, this partnership initiated in 2007 envisages the possibility of installing up to 10 MWc at the end of 2009.
